I am confident for Saturday, we need to get Mane running at their RB as he was v weak last night...

I like Tadic on the left, but I would actually keep swapping him and Mane over as he wont know what way to turn.

As long as Pelle has his heading head on we could be fine...

I would also be tempted to put Long next to Pelle for this reason, alas Newcastle away Las season.

Doubt you could afford him to be fair. Goal scoring midfielders in the Prem don't come cheap and although we do sell our best players we normally make sure clubs pay top whack. He's only 25 too so best years still ahead of him.

Can't see Gini leaving us for less than 30m when he's on course for 15 league goals this season plus assists on top of that in a team as poor as ours. Also has a 6 year contract which hikes up the price.

 

Doubt we could pay him either. Sadly, lovely as Saints are, there won't be many instances of players leaving a PL club to come to us....unless they are not being played at all. We will always have to look at lower leagues or, more likely, abroad for players who want to get into the PL.

It's almost impressive how he manages to pick up new injuries constantly. Just annoying his solitary game back was against us

 

Yes, constantly out injured, except when there's a Saints game to win. Even then, not on long - just enough to win the game.

 

Gary Monk sacked. It's a shame. They are struggling this year after being an example for newly promoted clubs.

Mark Lawrenson's predicted league positions at this stage compared with reality. He is far out in some cases with Chelsea second and Leicester in the relegation zone, but, to be fair, most other people would be miles out as well. Sadly, had us with more points and higher up the table as well.

 

Rodgers favourite to return to Swansea. Wonder what fans will make of that if it happens.

 

100% deserved to be sacked. His tactics and team selection have been abysmally bad. The bloke was starting Leon Britton over Cork. Bartley over Fernandez. He wasn't playing Angel Rangel at all. He refused to go to his quality keeper back up in Gerhard Tremmel. He seemed to think Sigurdsson was untouchable. I could go on, but no need to really when it's not our team. Basically, he's got himself to blame with his ridiculous team selection. And the tactics he used against Leicester (giving Leicester SO much room to get in behind) was the final nail in the coffin. Despite Leicester being top after this many games he refused to have a plan for them and didn't show them any respect. It just showed how naive and inept he is as a manager I'm afraid.

 

Get him here as a coach.

 

Blimey, they've got a few injuries! Infact, quite a few teams do have.

I can't confess to knowing all the actions and decisions Monk has made but seems harsh to say 100% sure should be sacked blaming tactics and team selection.

Pretty much every premier league manager could have that comment thrown at them starting with mourinho and Lvg.
