Nowt to do with the stadium, it's a small patch of land that a housing association, Genesis, might build flats on. We'll need 15-20 acres for a stadium, this site seems much smaller to get 600 homes in what look like tower blocks from the artwork. Here's what the website says about us:

"Queens Park Rangers Football Club has been based in West London for over 130 years. The club would like to move into Old Oak, building a new world class stadium as well as providing a proper home for its well established community outreach activity. QPR have acquired strategic land interests throughout the Old Oak regeneration area for both the stadium and associated enabling works."

Presumably this association is seen as good PR. Nothing on the Official about it, in our usual joined up strategic communication way.

Does look like HS2 is going ahead, which might give this whole redevelopment a bit of a kick up the arse.

I don't think the club has acquired any land though, we would have seen it in the books as an asset, unless it's all been done in the last few months. Of course the owners might have bought some.

The whole thing however will live or die depending on our performances on the pitch!

    Very positive.

Part of a wider strategy no doubt.

A small but significant step in cementing future developments in this area with the club.

    I warmly welcome this approach.
