To be fair Chesh, no manager / coach has lasted long enough to quit. Here's a a thought though, if it is Evans that makes all the decisions, is it a concern that he thinks Wootton is a better right back than Sam?

 

Has Evans not cleared the Byram thing though. It's not he thinks Woottons better, it's that he believes at the moment Byrams not in right frame of mind to play for us

Any manager worth his salt would quit if Cellino had over ruled him in team selection,would he not ?.As Eire said Evans did explain why Wootton played,and to be fair Wootton stopped at least 1 certain goal and played well.

 

Maybe we don't have managers worth their salt? If the truth be known no manager 'resigns' they all wait sacking for their compensation

 

Evans quit Rotherham because they wanted a committee to look for future signings instead of him.He's a man with balls is Evans and I have a feeling could be our best in ten years or more.

 

I'd say he probably has the biggest balls of any of our managers over the past decade

Never said it about any of the others and didn't think I would be saying it about Evans but impressed every time I hear him talk.

Less than 24 hours after joining us he said how much Byram has improved in training, 2 days later he said Mowatt is getting back to his old self. Silly things to say really and they were really meant weren't they
