We always rise to the occasion even if we concede the first goal now. Somehow confident. Going to miss CAN.
Maybe although unless we manage an amazing 10 goal victory tomorrow, we can only go back to sixth, same as last weekend.
Chelsea have 15pts after fifteen games. Top four usually sees teams needing around the 70pt mark (could be slightly lower this year with how **** everyone's been but I'll use that marker anyway) Means they need another 55pts from the remaining 69pts available to them. Fourth is nearly gone for them too imo.
That's the kind of blue sky thinking Rodgers would've gone in with tomorrow.... and ended up losing. Shame he's gone
I'll be happy with a boring 1-0 victory tbh. Not often I say that but I have a horrible feeling about this game. Everything seems to "obviously" for my liking.
I think ppl have every right to be confident about this one tbh. You'll have too much pressing and pace for them and I can't see their defence coping. I wish that was even a jinx but it's that nailed on, it's not lol. I knew LVG was a c*nt the minute we drew against them. I tell a lie, I knew he was a c*nt a year ago. But I digress
With all due respect to Man Utd, the fact you are second (and Leicester top) speaks volumes about the state of the PL at the minute. Equally, Liverpool and Spurs being labelled as title contenders is just as bad. Man City should be walking it really but they are seriously struggling (who wouldn't when missing the likes of Kompany, Silva and Aguero for a large chunk of the season) ****s knows what is happening with Chelsea. Arsenal just lost their best two players in Sanchez and Cazorla. TBH, I'd love to see Leicester somehow pull off a title win (assuming Liverpool can't actually mount a challenge). It would be the best thing to happen in English football for decades! Would be a nightmare for me locally like
Is it bad though. What if City and Chelsea were running away with it, let's say two out of United, Arsenal and Liverpool were bankers for top 4. Everyone else was a gulf behind basically bcos the top 4/5 tended to get results against them. Same old same old. But instead we have no idea what's going to happen from week to week. Partly bcos the usual suspects aren't great, but credit where it's due, in a great part to a who host of teams that are now giving each other, as well as those usual suspects, a run for their money. Isn't this what all fans (except perhaps United, City, Chelsea fans) want? The only frustrating part is that if you're a side with a very good squad and you're in the mix, then why you're not running away with it. There's never been a better season for someone to pi55 over the rest of the competition. That's the only 5hit part about it I guess. I agree, I think Leicester winning it would be brilliant. But @FosseFilberto will be unbearable for a year. Not sure I'm willing to bear that cross Why would it be a nightmare, you live in the Midlands? Think you've mentioned this before, but my memories going in my old age BTW fcking Hart the pr1ck. Should have kept Buthead as my goalie ffs! You've totally lucked out there and you know it.
Its great for entertainment and competitiveness, I meant the standard/quality is poor. My mums other half is a Leicester fan, I wouldn't hear the end of it. Keeps getting mentioned every time I go round now. Just hoping we batter them come Boxing Day I initially had Cech but swapped him to Butland after the very first week (Cech got sent off). Never considered changing him and never considered having a second choice keeper either.
So? There was no permutation of results that would have us overturn a 6 point gap in 1 weekend, since even a #sixpointer would only apply to 1 of the 5 teams above us
