Yes watching the match on a good feed, Town played well first half but this Boro side are not second for nothing have looked dangerous on the break. Come on Town will take a point now!
Just not good enough im afraid, 2nd half, too slow, no urgency and zero creativity. Sorry but Skuse and Douglas are one of the worst cm pairings i have seen at PR!! Poor substitution imo also!!
Our football, if you can call it that, is sooo poor, really is just hoof it up and hope for the best. Gutted JFH went to QPR!
deserved win for the Boro, shows that Town are really looking at a play-off place at best this season. We have certainly improved in our attacking play, but look dodgy at times in defence

First goal could be blamed on a number of things.. Smith and Chambers leaving it to each other to close down Adomah, then neither Gerks and Knudsen taking command of the ball in the box. Strange similarities between that goal and the chances for Chambers, Pittman and then Knudsen at the back post. Biggest criticism for me is the lack of ball carrier from midfield. Too often ball played forward when there is a chance to attack the space and commit defenders, AMN tries to be positive but desperately need Bish and Bru back in contention as a well organised team can stifle us.. Which Boro did and when they scored it knocked the wind out of our sails. Just one of those days. No great embarrassment losing to a side like Boro. They will be right at the sharp end come May and we will continue to push to keep up with the front runners.
Was a gulf in class tonight. Boro look like a decent side who should get automatic promotion. Town trying to play more expansive football, but the squad not quite good enough for it yet, still play-offs by no means out the equation, but M.Mc should be in no doubt that there still needs a lot of improvement
Mm needs to bloody realise Chambers and especially Knudsen are not the answer! Bru/Bish and Fraser will improve things greatly but if we continue to hoof it from the back, they will be less influential than they should be!

Just got back from the game. Tho disappointing easy give aways 2nd half, was quite impressed 1st half. Could easily have been 2 up. AMN ran his socks off. Reverted to type 2nd half. Long hopeful punts, too many nice passes back to oppo from Douglas,S kuse, Pitman, Knudson, and ffs lets stop those long throw-ins. 2nd goal came direct from a useless throw...and Boro surged forward on many pacey breaks. We had chances but Boro took theirs. Desperately need Bish, Fraser back, toothless midfield, no creativity 2nd half and they proved a class apart by the end. And so sorry to see Freddie so out of position. Adomah had the run of the park. A wake--up call for what we all know we lack. Summary - 1st half, play-off hopefuls and contenders, 2nd half, top 10 honest plodders! And on to the next....
