Not being a pessimist, but nothing is a given in this league. Players need to have the mentality that we're playing a top of league side and that any win will be hard fought. Respect all teams but don't fear them!

I think that is our best team available and we should go all out as they are there for the taking. Slightly concerned though as a team as sh!t as Newcastle always have a result in them at some point
One swallow doesn't make a whore. If stick with Studge, Firm and Benteke ahead of Origi for now. Origi has earned himself more cup and substitute appearances but I haven't forgiven his past useless performances completely yet to put him ahead of Benteke and the others. Even bad players have the occasional stormer. Time will tell if last night was a foreshadowing or a one-off.

i fully expect a demolition of the geordies, they are awful at the moment, anything less than 6-1 will be a a failure imo ill go 4-0 to us
I am never certain with us - especially as these are early days for Klopp. Granted Newcastle have been dog ****e this season - but they do take points from us at their place. If they start well then I can see it being difficult with them digging in. If we start well and score early then we could score a few. I'm going 3-1 Liverpool.
