Players In and Players Out

    If these are the main players in, players out, and players we have failed to sign, (by the start of the season), does it suggest are board are preparing for survival in the premiership or asset stripping? Thoughts please?

    Players In: Bothroyd, Dyer, Webber, Gabbidon

    Players Out: Tarrabt, Miller, Routledge, Walker

    Missed Out On: Mackail-Smith (Brighton), Graham (Norwich), Campbell (Probably West Ham), Naughton (Norwich)

    Miller, Walker and Routledge weren't our players Mr "Paddy Kelly" Spurs fan in disguise.....:smiley-finger007:

    True enough but they were still never our assets so can't be part of the "stripping" so to speak. Plus Adel hasn't left quite yet. I'm still hoping that Flav is too greedy, wants more than PSG will pay and talks break down...but not holding out too much hope of that.

    I don't understand why we have not enquired about taking Kyle Walker on a season long loan from spurs he does want to play in the premier league and he would als oby near his parent club smple, as for Adel why eat french bread (ligue 1) and you can have caviar (premier league) and why not put in a bid for wayne routledge gazump the swans. And while this is going on bernie, flavio & senor paladini make like Lord Lucan, Shergar and the crew & passengers of the marie celeste.

    I didn't realise we had signed Gabbindon.

    Plus one thing to remember, apart from Leon Clarke has NW signed any duff players for us? OK Rob Hulse hasn't set the world alight, and I am prepared to eat Humble Pie (with custard) by Jan if proved he was a waste, but didn't a few of us squrm when we saw QPR linked with the likes of Clint Hll and Shaun Derry?

    Things ain't over till the fat lady sings........

    Surely Naughton would be a more realistic target now given Walkers progress over the past 12 months?

    We havnt signed Webber (Thank god) or Gabbidon yet North London, but the only ones I was genuinly gutted we missed out on was Naughton, as he could be similar to Kyle Walker who was instrumental last year. Mackail Smith and Graham are gambles in this division..

    I thought that I had read somewhere that Webber had signed for a year.......however I could be mistaken

    not signed webber still having a look at him, won't walker or anyone as skint, maybe div 1/2 players.
