There really is a wealth of knowledge of our teams strengths in tactical form, from the posters on these threads. I realise this is achieved in following & watching the team play. But I would deffo take you lot for a matchday team tactic force over the current selection proccessors. I wonder If the club ever reads these enlightening views.

Hernandez need a partner and Akpom is probably the most likely, even though Maloney has been very good, I would go with Akpom and Hernandez. I, like some others would like to see Hayden in mid-field with Livermore until Meylers is back.
You're not wrong, but I hate to reward mediocrity. I'd even be tempted to push Dave forward and play Taylor at right back for this one. I know he's a liability there but it's only Leeds were playing ffs. Me old lady could do a job against that shower of ****.
Elmo needs to wake up and quick or Snodgrass will be making that spot his own. Once he is upto it that is. At the moment for sure. But the pressure to perform will grow on Elmo as Snodgrass gets nearer to starting games. ++++++ As for Diomande, don't be surprised to see him get a run out at some point on Monday maybe in the U21 game against Leeds @ the KC. Even if it is just a few mins at the end.
Can't afford to start with one up front in a winnable game. Even though Akpom had been a bit off recently, I still think he's the best choice to partner Abel on Saturday. Keep the 4-4-2, put Diame in next to Livermore and give elmo one more go.
Diame has to stay in the free role for me. More effective. Hopefully Hernandez does not have an injury issue after the Man City game. Akpom needs some time on the bench now. He was dire on Tuesday.
He was playing against one of the best teams in the country, his ability won't be measured in games like that. He has been off the boil for a while now though. Diame in a free role means we only play with one up front and in a game we need to win, why would we make such an attacking compromise?
Playing against one of the best teams in the country is no excuse for refusing to put a shift in and moping around. If we are to go two up top then Aluko is more deserving to partner Hernandez.
