Synopsis of my evening at the Etihad - late in the ground after sniffer dogs and body search (left the missus in the queue as not enough females to do search - she offered to be touched up by a male security guard but they wouldn't). At half time after queuing for 10 mins she got to the front to be told no hot food so complained to the head honcho and was fast tracked to the front of the queue in the next block. Had a chat with David Meyler who said he should be back for Rotherham then had to correct the tosser doing the interviews in the fan park who announced that a lot of people were surprised that Andrew Robertson hadn't signed for a bigger club than Hull given that they expected him to be a future England international. There was also a game of football where the result flattered the winning team (a bit).

We played some decent stuff in the second half, though obviously a more attacking approach left us exposed at the back and Man City took full advantage.

Disappointed that Luer didn't start, he might as well have gone out on loan. Personally, I'd now put him in the team ahead of Akpom, we could do with Arsenal recalling him in January, he's a bit of an arsecunt.

    Snodgrass didn't look ready.

Diame looked like he should be playing for Man City.

Hayden should partner Livermore at Leeds.

There was s bunch of chavs at the back of 315 who spent the entire game slagging off our own fans, I hope they spontaneously combusted on the way home.

What the hell do the roadworks department do when planning roadworks? M62 Eastbound exit closed off the M60 and then down to one lane on the M62. Do they not look and think there'll be about 5,000 Hull fans travelling back from Manchester?

They always shut major motorways on a night, they never take account of football matches, it's the same for almost every night game.

It even took over two hours to get back after the last night match against Leeds.

We gave an awful lot of possession away carelessly or needlessly, Robertson’s goal was very well worked, Hayden looked good and should play with Livermore on Saturday.

They were stood just to the right of where I was, I found it rather amusing.

We were miles too deep first half, which meant when we tried to get out we just gave it back to them.
There were times when we were looking to clear our lines and there was no one within sight of their back 4 to challenge.
I also don't think Moses had a touch in their half until after half time.
Diame looked miles too good, and I think Snodgrass could do with longer in the reserves, if only for him mentally

Presumably a few chavs were drowned out by the noise made by those they were slagging off?<laugh>

Does it end with you being racist, or begin with you being racist?
