Yeah its first time we've done t as a family, think idea being to save people from having to spend all day cooking etc... as as a one off won't be too bad, only issue is getting dressed up and walking into town and back when you just want to flop onto the sofa right after eating.

In future you'll be able to tell him that it's you that's flogged his guts out to pay for the Christmas consumer fest, and it's not merely a gift from some iffy looking bloke with a bushy beard who comes down your chimney once a year.........and unloads his sack on your living room floor........
