We weren't great by any stretch of the imagination but MOTD didn't do us justice either. We dominated possession and Swansea were camped in their final third for the majority of the first half.
Ok Tobes I'm sure that's why he said it was a "blatant" pen Face it mate, it didn't hit his leg, it was awful defending and it wasn't as bad a decision as you were trying to convince yourself it was It was harsh on Swansea in terms of the way they played and undoubtedly a stroke of luck our overall play probably didn't deserve....but it was a penalty.
Also on the penalty. The fact that the handball (deliberate or not) prevented a goal scoring opportunity also meant it was a penalty.
Don't be too harsh on Tobes, he's just gutted that we've been **** including a chunk of games under Brod whilst his Everton have been flying but... ...he's still got to #mindthegap
If it was given for preventing a goal scoring opportunity he'd have been sent off, what utter ****e It was merely a cross not an open goal ffs.
We were grim today. All over the place offensively, Benteskey being the worst of the lot (which may well bring us back to Jimmy's argument about him contributing **** all other than the occasional worldie). In defence of both teams the playing conditions were atrocious....I literally flew home after the game #billypoppins
