2/14 now, 4 draws and 8 losses. win rate still under Carver at about 14.3%. Can't believe people were optimistic about this chump. He picked Scott ****ing Carson... Remember that?
From an outsiders view this may seem the case, but Pearson is the man that started us on this run, Ranieri came into a club with total confidence, not in collapse like usual with a new manager. Our performances last year were good but we were usually missing the goal when we were on top and would end up losing games by the single goal. I don't think Pearson would do well with you in the short term as he needs to build his teams up, hes not going to turn things around as fast as Pulis, but then Pearsons teams won't stagnate as much the season after. If you want a manager to improve you every season then he'd be the best candidate, you'd just haveto take the risk of him surviving this season or you could just do a Sunderland and scrape through with a new manager every year.
He's not good enough the league is riddled with better teams and managers these days. The bar has risen considerably I'm afraid, however if it's not a quality manager then I'd rather role with mclaren.
When McLaren got the England job it was a bit like the scene from Auf Wiedersehen Pet where they paint the hut yellow. Nobody's first choice and picked by default.
Ah yes, runner up in the Europa, winner of the mighty carling cup having only played perennial cup chuckers Arsenal, and a league win in Holland... What a guy. Let's talk about his great successes at Forest, Derby, Wolfsburg and England...
McClaren should never have got the job. Many predicted how things would go for him and it has come to fruition.
It is hilarious. He wouldn't need a wind machine on the X factor. One of those hand held fans next to his tuft would do. As he is obviously deluded, I reckon he thinks he's not bald.
Seriously just shave it off it would make him look half respectable. He's probably got a ball sack with a wizards beard.
I have visions of him scrabbling round like Gollum, desperately trying to find strands that fall off in a breeze.
I would actually prefer Moyes as I think he would build a team based on players he knows can perform in this league and he is strict enough to not take **** from the players we have. He would get the club on a sound footing and then you can be a bit more adventurous with the next manager. Put him on a 3 year contract only.
