But nor have the previous managers had the players. Steve is doing the worst with them, and being honest more seems to have spent under him.

Bruce or Hughton would be my choice. They are both functional managers. We need someone to get the best out of what we have, not use a pisspoor imitation of Barcelona's 90's tactics.

If you look at Bruce's record, before the inevitable ignorant shoutdowns occur, you'll see he always did well with limited resources, and then failed when he got given cash to spend on fancy dans. That will not happen here!

Signings are irrelevant seeing as it is the board that signs them!
An average coach at best - at least we have a decent coach in McClaren - I want to give Steve time. I may be in the few that wants this!

    Maybe im an ostrich

He's not going to be any different from the crap we have.

The dressing room needs a lift and some belief and if you bring in a name they respect you'd get that.

Oh heres your new manager lads its nigel Pearson.
I can imagine them being thrilled

I'm not saying Pearson is my top choice, but we've finished in the bottom five for the past two seasons, we are currently second bottom so people thinking Seedorf is the answer are kidding themselves, he'd be a much bigger risk than Pearson.

Our shortlist would read something like Rodgers, Redknapp, Pearson, Moyes. Either that or some unknown French/Dutch coach.

I too want to give Steve time, but the games yesterday was as bad (if not worse) than anything under Carver and Pardew.

His talk of progress is dilusional though. Having said that I was happy with his appointment and believe he should get the January window with at least three signings of his choice.

Exactly, didn't Schmeichel say recently that Ranieri came in and didn't change a lot because he recognised they were onto a good thing at the end of last season? I remember all too well how they pumped us thoroughly at their place last season, so for me Pearson wouldn't be the best choice but a damn good one for the situation we're in. Still think the players we have are dicks though and wouldn't respond the way the Leicester players did.

Haha, it's a sign of how bad things are at the moment <laugh>

Seriously though, I did 14 hour round trip on a coach yesterday to watch Sissoko and co not even break sweat, it's soul destroying to watch.

Back in reality we will go with Pearson. We are going down quicker than chaos been offered a hoop lick if he gets on his hands and knees
