Well West Ham weren't using him last season either.

Apart from his fitness, in the dressing room I don't believe he got on well with our pair of Chileans who were also mismanaged by Redknapp. Look how Hoilett is playing for Warnock now, ditto for Zarate and Bilic.

Mauro Zarate has his swagger back at West Ham 10 months after being shipped out

    • Mauro Zarate buzzed around like he owned Upton Park against Chelsea
    • In January his swagger was less imposing as he was sent on loan to QPR
    • New West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has saved him from the scrapheap

The case of West Ham forward Mauro Zarate is a curious one.

At times against the Premier League champions on Saturday, he buzzed around Upton Park like he owned the place. Rewind 10 months, his swagger was far less imposing.

With Sam Allardyce in charge, the Argentine was shipped out on loan to Queens Park Rangers despite having arrived in the summer.

Such a shame we couldn't get a tune out of him last season.

Similar to the Uruguayan striker Javier Chevanton.

    Both under utilised.
