As soon as Curtis Davies went out the side we won 100% of our games, as soon as he came back in we've looked the same as we did earlier in the season. It's no coincidence. In fact every time I see Davies isn't starting i lump money on us to win. Easy money.
Bruce should put things right v Leeds, it's pretty obvious what needs to be done. If not I will be taking over Hats ' Bruce Out' thread duties
He's away with the fairies like Waggy Rosy, anybody with half decent knowledge of football knows where we are falling down
Dave at LB didnt affect the outcome of the game. The fluency in the middle bit you're spot on with. Now let me think who was there and who wasnt???? I'll give you a clue. Clucas was moved further inside to accommodate Tom's lack of legs. Thus ruining the whole ****ing midfield to help Tom. You can twist stats to suit any argument Rosy...
There have been two terrorist attacks on Paris after Meyler has started league games for us. There has never been a terrorist attack on Paris after Huddlestone has started a league game. It's no coincidence and the stats prove it, Meyler playing urges ISIS to attack Paris.
If you think Huddlestone doesn't have a negative effect on the team when he plays you're either blind, stupid or don't go to games. It's painfully obvious. I wonder if he gets dropped again and we start winning 2-0 and 3-0 every week it'll still be a co-incidence.
Both those Derby goals were shockers to concede - just watched the highlights again. Maloney missed two terrific chances.
@EuroEliteFL Cardiff & Hull created the most chances in the Championship this weekend (16) yet both failed to win #ccfc #hcafc
Curtis Davies was the guest on the Football League Tonight programme yesterday. Michael Dawson was in the studio for Sky Friday night at the game. Seems our players suddenly have the taste for TV after last weekend's appearances too. Shame we don't win on Sky, like.
Maloney did force the goalkeeper into a good save at least and didn't miss the ball, scuff it, balloon it over or be nearer the corner flag (all of which are the kind of efforts we are used to).
Both players probably looking to increase their profile for a January move too, though Dawson's recent injury may not have helped his cause there.
Agree with most points here, It's typical Bruce tactics for me, square peg round hole. Bristol was a warning, Derby was horrible to watch. We are missing Meyler massively. Huddlestone is not the answer, on a side not no one ever seems to bring up THudss lack of any end product in anything. Would hate to see his assist or goal scoring record with us!! 1 goal a season for a midfielder is shocking!
Like I said on another thread, if Huddlestone is going to play then his role has to change. He is a liability as a midfield anchor and needs to be played further forward with Hayden behind him - as per the Leicester league cup game.
My thoughts on this game: 1. Dawson and Robertson obviously a huge miss 2. Huddlestone and Livermore just cannot play in the same midfield, they get in each others way 3. Maloney may have missed a few, but thought he was very creative and what we need. His set pieces are also miles better than Hudds, should give him a chance at free kicks. 4. Lack of a back up out and out striker costing us dearly yet again.
As OLM often tells me this is a forum where people can express their opinions, for better or worse! Nobody sees the game the same way in my experience
