And just 6 points off 1st. There would be Spurs and Leicester above us (teams you'd expect to fold at some point, can't keep the run forever) there is also Man Utd whose position flatters them- no way are they a top 4 side. We won't catch City or Arsenal this season but top 4 is possible... Really really need a win to stay in touching distance though.
Jokes aside, we are on a run of bad results, with the wrong tactics, very strange formations, players playing out of position, players' attitude and bad excuses. If we take our shirts off and wave them in the air as an act of surrender, take pity on us and don`t score more than three. It might actually be a novelty if our players were to actually look interested in playing. They don`t chase down, are lethargic and by the third quarter of the game are knackered and couldn`t care less about the way the game is going. Never mind, at least the chairman has given the manager his full backing and support.
Am i the only one a bit worried about tomorrow. Our form at Anfield is not good and we struggle to break teams down if they come to defend deep and hit us on the break which is surely how Monk will set Swansea up considering his job is hanging by a thread.
Plus we just played in Europe. Plus most of the teams above us dropped points. We're nailed on to not win but you might as well #believe anyway.
It's the type of game where we ought to win but we'll make it tough for ourselves, especially with Europe on Thursday and the fact that there have been decent results go our way as well. I have a horrible feeling we'll **** it up, but fingers crossed we don't
Tbh every time I've said over here we'll beat you, we've gone and lost. What's the odds now I've said we'll get hammered tomorrow we come away with three points?
