Wicklow Brave 166 Whats Nicholls Canyon 170 Until they rectify the false ratings of Faugheen and Arctic Fire there is going to be a lot of horses who ran near them getting beat with supposed weight in hand.
First Lieutenant 25/1 let me a down for a fortune, two singles and a double with Identity Thief 8/1 And I backed Smad Place in the race last year
Cheers for all the plaudits fellas. I don't tip nearly enough winners on here these days. Tough to find the time to study them properly but nice when I pull a rabbit from the hat like that to see some of you have had a couple of quid on. Love this place by the way, so many excellent judges. Sometimes it is impossible to know to follow. Nice little Cindi there Boris also!
I was originally underwhelmed but in hindsight I'm happy enough and taking on trust the views he wasn't fully fit prove accurate. As I say, I think it was a decent performance considering the way the front two pulled a fence clear of old boy Tizzards fella. My one concern and one I voiced before the race was he's better going left handed. That's my only King George worry. He's definitely good enough, there's no doubting it, and he'll 100% stay at Kempton, he did draw away from Ptit Zig after the last when asked. If he jumps well, he will win the King George.
Can someone with a team in the ATR comp please let me know if I have a team in there? I'm pretty sure I had, but the website won't take me to "my stable" just keeps asking me to register a team It may be because I'm using a different device, but it seems a bit daft if that's the case! Thanks
Very poor HGC...worst I can remember and I remember putting pocket money on Fighting Fit as a 10-y-o chap! Like many,I backed Smady last year and for him to win today, off the same mark, from another bunch of fully exposed 'chasers doesn't excite form wise...although I must admit it was a magnificent sight and a deserved win. In one sense it was good to see the race won by by something other than a ridiculously handicapped "second season" blot. Back to the good old days I say!..Coneygree was never going to run, never ever, smoke and mirrors job..Burrough Hill Lad did it under one of the best rides you'll ever see..anyone remember that?..12 stone as well on his back.
