please log in to view this image Supporters asked to note new procedures in place for Friday night.... In light of recent world events, and in line with the latest advice from the authorities, we would like to advise supporters attending Friday night’s home game against Derby County of some minor changes in procedure when entering the KC Stadium. The Stadium Management Company will be implementing searches of and tagging all bags coming into the stadium – this will apply to all supporters, hospitality guests and media representatives. With the above in mind, we ask all fans to allow a little extra time to enter the stadium in time for kick-off. We also ask that Season Card holders do not allow/transfer their card to other supporters in the event that they are not able to attend the game as the SMC need to be able to track and trace all ticket holders should they need to. We thank you in advance for your cooperation with the above, which is being implemented with the safety of everybody attending the fixture in mind. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...ce-at-the-kc-2821452.aspx#2d6PjcmQ93qLI9za.99
So the usual arseholes will turn up 10 mins before kick off rather than 5, then bitch about over the top security.
Hope they stop and search some of those who always leave early tomorrow night regardless of the score with 20 mins to go. Some right shifty looking fu ckers amongst them If you ask me and many won't make eye contact if you get my drift...well dodgy. Just saying like.. Allam OUT
Will they be checking the passes of those who get in on an OAP's pass which they bought in their elderly fathers/mothers names ?
Probably very wise under the circumstances! I can't make it and was going to give the pass to my son's friend - does anyone know if I use the Ticket office to formally swap the ticket if this is still allowed? I know it used to be . . . . i will ring the TO today and post their reply on here.
There was a warning ahead of the England v France game, that everyone should arrive early as everyone would be thoroughly searched and it would cause delays. In reality, we just walked in, we weren't checked at all.
You'd better not be referring to Bobby D. If you are then we've got a problem on our hands. A big problem.
What's wrong with doing that? Under normal circumstances, you shouldn't be expected to arrive early because of the club's inadequate system for getting people into the ground. In other situations you don't have to do that. No one gets to the cinema and takes their seat half an hour early do they? As Chazz says, the way to do it is incentivise it. The reason people stay in pubs until the last minute is to get much better food and drinks much cheaper. I can't believe so many people gladly buy any food and drink at all at football grounds. If you make it competitive with the pubs people will go.
Makes sense. However I don't expect our game to be a high priority for the scum bags who like to kill people. Hardly an issue for those who don't carry a bag is it ?
ah well that probably means that they will double the police presence getting free entry to watch the match. That will be twice the number of Humbersides finest doing sweet **** all. If you are criminal, tonight would a good night to go on a robbing spree.
Honestly don't care what time people arrive, or leave really for that matter, even if I don't understand it. I don't get why people KNOW the problems, and still rock up 5 mins before kick off, then complain about it. They can still eat and drink before heading to the KC, they surely don't need to be eating and drinking until 5 mins before kick off though do they? Also, I don't think its a case of making it competitive either. People have their rituals, they won't change that for a pie and a pint the same price as the pub they go to every game.
The main reason people arrive five minutes before kick off, is because many of them watch the early kick off game at the pub before going to the ground (obviously this is just Saturday games).
