The stand out fixture this weekend. Chelsea in a mess and trying to turn it around. Spurs riding high and need bringing down to Earth. How does this one go? Chavs still in the ****? Bore draw? Spurs get back to being ****?
I'm going 1-1 Costa walking with a red along with a Spurs defender, tantrums on the sidelines, massive fine for Jose lots of drama and massive overreaction from the media.
If Chelsea can turn a corner they are not that far off the rest, a run of games and they're back in it. I don't see it at the moment but you never know.
Lots of red cards, maybe a leg break for Costa and Kane*, mass brawl and both teams docked 10 points, should do nicely *joking
Best case scenario is a draw Worst case scenario is a Spurs win as they will be even more unbearable and Hiag continues his Invincibles thread Worst case scenario is a Chelsea win as they will return from whence they went and be unbearable again, but Hiag will discontinue his Invincibles thread
When AVB was our manager, we had an organised defence, 12 match unbeaten run which started at a more difficult stage of the season (festive period), Walker and Verts playing to a high standard with Dembele looking world class in certain games. Pochettino is being viewed as this "special" manager while Dele Alli just has to tie his bootlaces to be handed MOTM, its becoming OTT, still I'm enjoying our run of form. even if we can't sustain this form for much longer. Not that I want the chavs to end our run. They still look suspect and panic under pressure so with our high pressing game, get in their faces, as Cahill will be having sleepless nights about facing Kane and co. (prepare for a Mourinho defensive masterclass)
Oh do stop it Gonzo! ,,, in terms of a public spectacle this fixture is only marginally preferable to the other Sunday mid-table fixture between the red half of merseyslide and those welsh monkees .. The big game of the weekend is undoubtedly the Saturday clash at the King Power stadium between the top two in the EPL - will the flair, artistry and sheer pace of the entertainers, Leicester City, triumph over the mechanically functional anti-football of the 'Dutch' martian's (he surely plays the bug man in Men In Black?) androids ... ... but back on topic ... wouldn't be surprised to see a transmorphing Chelski nick this ... Spurs haven't really crushed their fans blossoming expectations yet this season ... so it must be imminent
Leicester games are hardly a big occasion. They're a foregone conclusion. Vardy will yawn whilst scoring goals. They smash all in their way and make all other Premier League teams look like Scottish teams. Its time all us rival fans admitted Leicester are probably the biggest team of all time.
I am hoping a certain record is broken this weekend and this false record over 2 seasons is forgotten about.
