Tyson now threatening to pull out of the fight due to a gloves issue. Looks like Vlad might have tried to use gloves other than those agreed to. When Fury protested, he was told that there is a chance that the new ones might be ready by Saturday. No gloves, no fight he reckons. I'm sure they'll show up by fight night.

This interview from a week or so back is a real eye opener. The part about the sauna meeting was amazing, the look on Klitschko's face when the interviewer asked who gave in and left first said a lot. A real weakness. Fury is a serious thinker when it comes to heavyweight boxing, and win, lose or draw, he's going to put on a show. He might end up on his back, but for the first time in ages, we have a decent title clash. The robotic and well structured champion against an unorthodox, ad lib challenger. I can't wait for the weigh-in on Friday. After a lay off, Fury's been gradually bringing down his weight over the last three fights. He ballooned out to 274, but has come down to 264 then 260 at his last fight. He's going to need speed, so I'm hoping he'll drop at least another five pounds. I think Vlad knows this will be a stiff one, so will leave no stone unturned. He's never topped 250. As he's up against a big man, he might just pass that mark for the first time. **** I love this. <laugh>

Furyhas to catch him during an exchange. Klitschko has a much sharper jab and I can only see Fury nicking this by throwing the short uppercut if Wlad looks for the left hook.

I don't think Furys movement has been good enough so far in his career so he would need to have improved that to stand a chance. He has the reach but possibly lacks the speed? Klitschko I think could floor him a couple of times on the way to a decision but it depends whether Fury can land something big to make the champ think twice.

Fury has to get in close and make it a scrap, the problem with that is he's bound to get caught and if Klitschko's power hurts him early on I can see him going in to his shell and Klitschko running out an easy points winner.

10pm Düsseldorf time they begin the entry to the ring Ron. You'll have to hunt around for a stream.

I hope Klitschko absolutely destroys him. The idea of Fury being a British world champion makes me cringe.

Can't be anymore cringeworthy than David 'hurt my big toe' Haye's performance.

I expect Klit to win on points but Fury's available at 4/1, so I might have a little dabble on hik for interest. Pretty sure Haye was something like 7/4, 15/8 to win against him, I'd rate Fury's chance similar to Hayes so think 4/1 is a fair old price (albeit most likely a value loser <laugh>)

Watched that video myself Cyc, I actually think Fury's less likely to win now, for me Klitschko looks to have won the mind games. Calm and focussed whilst Fury seems a bit flustered to me facing the Champ.

Maybe I didn't have my goggles on Beefy. I sort of thought the opposite.

Vlad to win though, but I'll be cheering for "our" Tyson. I'm gunna be a pom for a short while on Saturday night. <laugh>

I watched the gloves are off last week and have to say I thought Wlad won the mind games aswell Beefy.

I can't believe Fury is even fighting for a world title and if he wins I'll be embarrassed to call myself a boxing fan. 4/1 is a ridiculously small price I wouldn't back him at 400/1!

If he somehow pulls this off it'll be one of the biggest upsets in history, up there with Clay beating Liston, 'Buster' Douglas beating Tyson or Audley Harrison beating anyone!

Fury talks a good game, when he's not comparing gay people to *****philes that is, and I think because of his gift of the gab that's maybe why the price is so short.

David Haye seriously underperformed against Wlad and let himself down by being so cautious. I'm a big fan of Haye but the scenes at the post fight press conference were pathetic. His injury may have legitametly prevented him from performing to his best but just keep quiet and take defeat like a man (same to you Pacqioua)!

Haye beats Fury easily for me and I have to say I'm slightly disappointed with Hayes comeback opponent. He could have taken more of a risk and actually fought a genuine ranked contender. I know this bloke is ranked 9 with WBA but they're a joke, I mean they have about 73 world title belts at each weight how can they be taken seriously.

I'll be paying for the fight on Saturday night just because it's worth £17 to have that smug look wiped off Fury's face. I'm a proud Englishman but I'll be cheering Wlad every step of the way

The only one that looked uncomfortable on that video was Klitschko. Might be different on the night though <laugh>. I hope Fury wins convincingly. If he does he probably won't get any credit. If he doesn't it will take a long time to scrape the egg off his face.

Are we allowed to use the abbreviation "Klit" in polite company?

Originally it was Vitali, who gave Lennox Lewis a right old battle before going on to hammer the rest of the heavyweight scene. Wlad was having chin issues in the mid 2000s with some disappointing defeats but 10 years later, it has changed somewhat.

Personally I think Vitali was marginally better overall.
