They have just announced they have arrested 150 suspected terrorists (and/or sympathisers) and found approximately 250 weapons of war since the attack a week and a half ago.

They didn't just discover these people, they already know who and where they are ........... why is it always after the horse has bolted?

It's because we have to seen to be fair and not picking on one section of society. I dare bet it is the same in this country, but we have to wait until they actually do something before we act.

    Exactly right mate.

They popped round to the house of the ringleader, of the attacks, and found him at home with his gang & a huge cache of weapons.

It's time to get our retaliation in first for a change I'm afraid.

Drastic times require drastic measures, so it is perhaps time to ditch all this political correctness.

Greater Mcr police just seized £millions worth of goods from knockoff shops in Mcr near strangeways, they are bragging about it to all the media.

Fair enough, to some it might seem proactive, but to others like me, who actually watched ITV do a documentary on the knockoff shops on Strangeways doorstep, two years ago, it seems a bit of a slow process.

The radio today is full of this story that the police are threatening that the country will become unsafe if the budget is cut for Police (even though additional funding is going into counter terrorism).

I've seen our police forces first hand, trying everything in their power to get out of doing any work, desperate to stay indoors when the weather is ****. Officers on the beat are pathetic, a sniff of a cold and they're after an office job for 10 months then applying for permanent desk duties... **** them, cut their budget, they're ****ing useless, all of them.

A lot of this was done due to the state of emergency in place over here now. I live in the middle of nowhere (small village in a farming area) and in the local town I have seen military police out once or twice, cars being searched (especially any poor bugger who is unlucky enough to have Belgian plates) and other measures.

They also put a curfew in place Sens (a town south of Paris) in one of the town's districts after finding Weapons, false ID cards etc. Nobody was allowed outside from 10pm to 6am - though I am not sure if it is still in place or was only done for a couple of days.

In Lyon, the "fetes des lumieres" (party of lights) was cancelled, and that is a massive event.

They also searched a hotel near the airport near us- with specialist elite units from Strasbourg being involved. All they found was stolen goods (no weapons etc). Its pretty crazy, and anyone with dodgy dealings must be ****ting themselves.

In England you have to be politically correct that's why we search anglosaxon grannies for guns in airports!

I am glad about all this, I am doing Formula E in the centre of Paris in April, can't say I am exactly looking forward to it, but if the security is that hot then it is a good thing. I will be getting in doing my work and getting out again as fast as possible.
