I'm sure no one thinks its acceptable. But its how you deal with it is'nt it? It should have been right lads 5 mile run for everyone now and watch him puke his guts up. Still fine him but to keep him away from training is stupid and counter productive.
So where did he do this do we know? Slovenia or back here?
I will say it again read 442 this month, Dwight Yorke talking about preseason in Oz the season after winning the treble.

How anyone can mention Dean Windass and Jimmy Bullard in the the same breath is beyond me. It just proves that some people will never understand the difference between a Hull legend and a waster !:emoticon-0112-wonde

im not saying windass did that in the slightest im just saying if he ever did, he was that loved by the fans that he would get away with it. im not taking away from the fact its criminal to be pissed at training.

OLM, I don't live in Hull anymore, so I miss out on the jungle drums. Please tell me (in private if libelous) what happened down Prinny Ave (and the "Hull FC" thing if that is different.

If Jimmy played drunk he'd still rip teams apart and we'd score the odd goal now and then.

This is his first offence, everyone has got it into their heads he is a repeat offender, he's doen nothing wrong previously apart from what's said in rumours.

He's not beat someone up like Cockayne, he's not sexually harrassed and assaulted a women like King, how the **** can people compare Bullard drinking to this?!

exactly the reason he will not be sacked. This is the first offical wrong doing and even this hasnt been confirmed yet (although NP's reaction does suggest it was true). He may get a written warning i even doubt that to be hoenst he will be suspended and fined wages and will return to work with a verbal warning.

Should he be sacked - YES will he be sacked - NO, however I am of the opinion that we as a club are fashioning a situation, ably assisted by the baffoon that is Bullard, that may possibly lead to gross breach of contract, thus allowing us to terminate his contract... Random drugs checks anyone ?

oh... and just a thought to the parents on here that see their kids worship their idols on a football pitch, following the fashion trends, and the way they conduct themselves both on and off the pitch, what the hell kind of message does this send. The man has a talent that he seems hell bent on wasting, whilst pocketing the ludicrously large contract he was given. He constantly contradicts himself, while suggesting how he just loves to play, it isn`t about the money blah blah blah, then when opportunity arises to play and be a part of the team.. he does something like this, makes my blood curdle. Its like watching a less talented Gasgoine in meltdown

We don't know how many written or verbal warnings he has had. I think the club are doing the right thing. Give him a chance to play. Try to transfer him. Come down hard on any wrongdoing.

I see Naughton has signed for a decent team, he didn't want to embarrass himself with your expensively assembled shambles. Cheerio!

At his age and with his injury record there is no excuse for him not training properly and managing his lifestyle.

The key word is 'Official'. Its clearly the first to make the press that we know about.
You don't know if its the first ever, I don't know if its the first ever, the only people that do are the club and the man and neither are talking.

This makes sense but I see a parting of the ways coming. Either a) amiciably by way of a pay off, or b) sacking and a court case.
    Interesting times.
Until the club come out with a statement we are no further on with the Bullard conundrum.
The mighty tigers could do the millstone of 45k a week removed from the budget but I am not yet convinced that this latest news takes this any nearer.

Maybe you'll think differently when the money you pay to watch City and helps line the pockets of Bullard's type has been earnt instead of supplied by someone else.
