Bojan is really enjoying his football again , his face is a picture of delight after scoring. He has been playing some great stuff , in my opinion , for some weeks now. Against chelski , the pass that Shaq. made to Johnson for his cross to Arnie to score (via Jonno) rightly got rave notices , but the pass that started the move was Bo to Shaq. and that also was brilliant for the vision and precision required to get the ball to its target.
Black Cats beat Palace last night , was it their ninth life ? I think we are good enough to take the three points so long as we get a fair deal from the officials.:emoticon-0157-sun:

It looks like Shaquri is finding his feet too. I remember last season it took Bojan until about December to start performing so hopefully we'll start seeing some more magic from him soon too.

An aside, I think Shaquiri looks like Mr Strong, small, square and powerfully built. Just sayin'

True Zoz, looking forward to him getting up to speed. It is genuinely exciting having him, Mr B and Arnie in the same team.

I have to say that Bojan has been brilliant since his return, but for me Arnie has been world class this season. He looks a different player and I have a feeling if he keeps up with this form then the big teams are gonna come knocking. I just hope we slam the door in their faces lol

Ricc, totally agree and I think it's because N'Zonzi has left. He's been given the role of play maker and he's living up to it.

All this is true, so why do we score so few goals ? I do not want to spoil anyone's day, ok ?

I really can't understand why we score so few goals as we are creating so many chances. Hopefully this is just a phase and we start banging a few in. The chances we have created we should really have double the amount of goals we have. A bit of composure in front of goal maybe? hopefully we get a few tomorrow

Josulino doesn't seem to be delivering the goods...not seen him 'live'/only on TV and am not impressed.

Oh for another Mark Stein :)

But...how many teams would have signed Vardy ???

I would give my right arm for either Stein or Fuller in this team, Joselu hasnt had much game time but ive not been overly impressed when he has had game time. Theres always the January Transfer window I suppose

Of course..the wonderful Ricardo..I still go onto you tube to watch his goals.

In my opinion, the only piece missing from the jigsaw is an out and out goal scorer...same for 99% of all football teams. It is odd that noboby has taken a punt on Jordan Rhodes.

    Broken record time!

Even the greatest and most proven strikers revert to a deeper (alternative) role as they age, yet we have reverted to relying on Walters. Regardless of how he is perceived by the faithful, he never was and never will be a 'striker' and it is unfair to put that burden on him. He is too old & slow and does not have a natural understanding of the position having played most of his career in various mid field/wing roles in lower leagues. He is also unable to keep possession and his first touch in both control and strike are below the standard required at this level.

Having a team weakness in this area results in more pressure for the other forwards and less space to operate in. We either need a player who runs of the last man and stretches the back four creating space for others, or a strong target man who can win and hold the ball to play in other forwards.

Agree with ye regardlng SJW, he was not bought as an out and out striker. Scores important goals but not enough of them. 100% er thats for sure.
