A mini league of 5 perhaps 6 to stay up?

We are one of the poorer teams in the league, I think that is fair to say. We have fallen behind the likes of Southampton, Swansea, West Brom, Palace and Stoke. That's no to say we can't beat them but it seem unlikely these days.

At the bottom of the table we are battling it out with

    Villa
    Newcastle
    Bournemouth
    Norwich

I think these teams are of a similar level to us.

Potentially Watford could be caught up and normally a surprise team drops at some point.
The longer McLaren stays at Newcastle the better for us I would suggest.

Can we finish 4th bottom from this lot. I think we have the right manager and the January window is crucial as we know that even if these players go on a bit of a run they tend to slip back at some point. I don't really see any of the other teams in the league as poor as these.

So can we finish above three of these or do you think others will drop into the quagmire?

I reckon Swansea could end up caught up in it. They'll be the surprise ones I think. Would like to see them relegated as well!!

I think Swansea must be thinking of sacking Monk shortly.

Agree with the OP. In fact for a while I've thought that Villa, Bournemouth & Norwich will go. I think the Mags will stay up, which has had me looking at the gap between us and Norwich, now only 3 points!

More surprises yet to come, look at Leicester this time last season. Played good football but could not buy a win. Gotta love football.

Our strength is in the been there, done that and we can do it again.

Antrhing can happen. All clubs are capable of going on a good run. As we have proved in the past.

    Lots of twists and turns

Leicesters BIG bubble could be next when Vardy's form drops.

I think the three promoted teams will drop out and we will survive quite comfortably by our standards. By that I mean with two games to go.

Jesus the relegation battle could involve any of half the league. It's November and were not even half way yet. <laugh>
