Makes it sometimes that people above/beyond and in the twilight zone listen to my whispers..

A great great win tonight lads, ha'way the lads..

Took the lads to win and Weadlestone to draw for a fiver and won £137..

Steak for Lollie tomorrow, chocolates and Joe singing 'Unchained Melody', it could go either way, a smile or multiple spasms..<laugh>

    Great win lads, enjoy..<ok>

Possession 67 to 33 but we win. Just shows possession isn't everything even if Newcastle fans think it is.

Really pleased to see and hear our fans down there tonight.

Great for the likes of Smug and Sid down there tonight and also a work mate who's just round the corner from palace.

SId's only 9 mile away man! He's closer to there than I am to the SoL!! :)

Great win. Defoes first touch was awful all night... But his last touch when it mattered was class (well... Simples!)

No clear chances for the opposition all night. Wasn't a great game to watch but the back three were excellent. Full backs did well.

My glass is half full ... We're only a point away from seventeenth now... GD the same. Let's hope it's a springboard!

Big difference in the work rate I thought.

Maybe the message has sunk in.

Wish I'd had a couple. Of quid on it now! Logged into my sky bet account but decided against it in the end!

But that`s a million times better than he was.

Poor bugger must have been practically suicidal.

    Still a few unforced errors.
Still static at times but a vastly improved resilient performance from the lads. Central defence immense BUT we will face better attacks than Palace.
Still let's enjoy tonight. A fab three points which I thought there was no chance of. Let's beat Stoke now and get out of the bottom three before our easy December games kick in:emoticon-0100-smile

Absolutely great win! Most of our football was terrible but the defence was superb and as Allardyce has been saying that's the most important thing. I'd take a decade of **** football and good results instead of what we've been putting up with.

It was good to see more savvy out there, obviously time wasting isn't a nice tactic but every other fecker does it to us when it's appropriate so it's about time we did too. It frustrated them.

Special mention for SC and YK both immense for us at the back tonight, so pleased for them, and with JOS back we have a decent chance to hold steady until the turn of the year, and bring in some decent cover, in a few key positions. This result is enormous in its significance, back to back wins and we are flying, come on you beauties. <cheers>

If we keep up the work rate and improve on posession, playing a bunch of teams we need to stifle rather than gun for could be up our street - as per our December fixtures.

    then again.,..

Paddy had a better game tonight, which is good for his confidence. slowly but surely, eh..

Not literally in Sydney! Whatmore really impressed great to have some entertainment and I thought Kaboul had a great game. Only another 33 points for safety, should be a doddle!
