We drew against Stoke. We drew against Chelsea. We lost against Sunderland. We drew against Stoke........ So I fail to see your point. The fact is this season we have been miserable.

Hmm! Best you re-read then! I said we played extremely well - not the points on the board!

Beginning to wonder if some of our fans should have not heckled Fat Sham with what they want apparently! I want good football, eventually the results will come. Sadly a lot of fans would rather dire football and an extra few points!

Look at the table. Look at the dross we are getting served up each week. Result or not we have been destroyed in most games. Bar a few half decent halves of football. You take away the Norwich game which can I add could have gone either way and we have been awful. It's a sad state when we are trying to accept proper crap football. We need to strive for better. We need to be better. I am not accepting second best. What's the point in supporting a team if you do.

I am worried, but not overly worried, by our results. The difference with our last two games has been the complete lack of effort and ability to even pass the ball. Before that our play was encouraging and showed signs of improvement. That has to stop now with a proper performance against crystal palace. Whatever has changed needs addressing immediately. We did sign some real class in the summer but in the last two games our 'good' players have looked anonymous and unmotivated. They look no more better than some of the dross. We should know that isn't the case with them. McClaren needs to fix that asap or we will be in serious trouble.

To be fair though, we haven't played that much good football <laugh> We've barely kicked the ball in the last two games.

I don't think we should create some fallacy that we have looked good under McClaren. We haven't. Pardew's teams had very good spells where we looked good but overall the football was fairly poor. Steve is working with better players and doing no better if not worse. I think we have to give it time but accept if we do, we might well have got it wrong and go down.

By the way Geordie Ginola also said you had a cock like a button mushroom. I wouldn't stand for that.

Good football? That must be a joke, because we haven't been playing good football. We play slow short passing ****e. Trying to play Barcelona with players who can't pass five yards and move is just proof of how delusional and one dimensional Steve is. He's lost grip of reality.

We aren't going to see great play from this lot, that's for sure, but we could have more points unquestionably, and more points equals more time in the premier league, equals more tv money, more to spend on the squad and the better players we can attract. Steve McLaren equals RIP Newcastle United as a premier league entity.

Graham Carr should be banned from scouting Gaelic flair.

We have 2 or 3 players who can play that style, but not enough to make it work. If we are going to make that work we would need a minimum 5 or 6 more (more like 7 or 8). It's the sort of football I'd love to see but we either splash massive cash in January or accept that we will be in serious trouble.

I thought Thauvin was ok rw and at least had a go yesterday to be honest.

I said last week marv and tiote would work better in the middle.

Team balance is more important than player ratings

It's a completely unrealistic way to approach tactics with the players at his disposal. He's not creating a dynasty and tradition of sexy football, he's just making himself look stupid.

Coloccini, maybe Perez, but that's the only two players who can play with the ball on the deck. Anita is absolute garbage and can't play any sort of game, should only be a back-up RB.

The rest need to play direct. Wij plays his best this way, so does Mitrovic, Cisse, Janmaat and Sissoko. The rest aren't capable with the ball at feet so to play tikki takka is absolutely insane. McLaren should have been sacked after his first coaching session.

    Yesterday wasn't pretty.

I feared for us the moment I saw Tiote and Anita were our CM pairing. Just need to get through to January out of the bottom three.

Colback is a huge miss. Janmaat needed shooting for their second goal.

We need minimum of three players, we need a clogger at the back in the shawcross mould, I'd love us to sign Shelvey, always wants the ball and not afraid to put his foot in and then I'd love Townsend. If we could get Austin on top of that I'd be confident of lower mid table as a minimum.

Need some players that can hit the ground running and take responsibility for their own performances.

As for Steve out, not for me, but I do think it might be time to give Cisse and De Jong a run in the team. Drop Sissoko, put Gini in the middle and go with Perez wide.

McClaren has come out publicly and said our form is all because of Mitro and nothing else. Thank goodness I was wondering if we were ever going to figure out the problem. Well allegedly Mitro will be dropped for the Palace game and I can't wait to see who next to shoulder the burden when Palace handedly beat us.

Our whole recruitment policy is to blame. That useless ****wit Graham Carr should shoulder a lot of the blame. He recommended McClaren, despite the fact he is dogshit. His career is littered with failure.

As for the players - Mitrovic has been one of our better players this season. If you don't get the supply, you can't score goals. McClaren can **** off with his toothless tippy-tappy bollocks.

As a director its hard to remove McClaren, However come the next three results (Palace, Lpool and Spurs) I think it might become a whole lot easier.
I cant see us scoring in our next three, nor can I see us keeping a clean sheet, therefore putting us on a run of 4 straight defeats and a place in the relegation zone no doubt.
Ashley/Charnley gambled last season with the managerial position and kept the faith with Carver and although it paid off, im sure they have learnt from last season and i doubt they will afford McClaren the same kind of luxury.

You cant have 3 months in charge, 50M spend and keep your job when there has been no change in mentality or performance. I though the backroom staff would have made a difference, steve black and cathro, but no its got no better, if anything we are getting worse.
I never expected us to beat lecicester on their current form, however I do expect a level of perfomance better than that. I would be hauling players off left right and centre. Some of the worst performers would be playing again tonight for the u21's and would be dropped next week, I'd rather play the likes of obertan, marv, lacelles vuckic, feruson, mbabu, sterry and sakta and tell the Sissoko's anita's tiote's and alike that they are dropped indefinately or until they are willing to actually do their job properly.

I might be trigger happy but I wanted him gone after the Swansea defeat. That was as bad as I had ever seen at premier league level.....until Bournemouth and then Leicester......incredibly it has got worse. He's the most clueless twat in football and I'm sick of the excuses. That said. He has the safest job in football. No way will he get sacked. He'll be Ashleys man to try and get us back up next season.

I never wanted the clown in the first place. I'll concede that there have been some good performances, but most have been terrible.
You know what pisses me off the most? Pretty much everyone could predict how things would go.

I've supported Sunderland for nearly 30 years, and I would say that for 20 to 25 of these years this has been the general pattern for us. I've just accepted that it will always be the same. It's just getting worse over the past 3 or 4 seasons to the point that I now laugh instead of cry. However it still manages to piss me off! Football eh? Oh well, hey ho!

The worst thing is - Both clubs have the potential to be up there. But we are ridiculously mismanaged. We are falling further and further behind every season and it's a joke.
