2.25 Haydock Shantou Bob 9/1 was something I fancied for the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham and I think he looks a big price today. Conditions are ideal, Greatrex are in great form and I think he's got to go close.

Like I implied in my earlier post, not as good going right handed. Worth considering Ptit Zig was no doubt tuned to his absolute max for this race but class prevailed. Vautour won with his ears pricked crossing the line.

Travelled well, clouted one down the back but stayed pretty well. Good reappearance all in all

I sure wouldn't back Vautour for the King George on that run! Looks like he's better going left handed, but I'd rather back Coneygree in the Cheltenham Gold Cup who's proven over course and distance.

I had the feeling he would've been a lot happier going faster Beefy - I think that poor jump was due to the lack of pace? You worried about him jumping slightly left throughout in terms of the King George? Cracking run from Ptit Zig giving him 5lbs.

I thought it was pretty good. Ptit Zig's fit. Jumped well enough. I'd be more confident after this race that he could stay the Cheltenham Gold Cup trip.

Spot on Oddy, yeah the right handed thing is a slight worry, I'd have hoped he'd have jumped straighter than he did there. Im all over him already for King George so not much i can do now!

The main plus is he stayed on well after the last, over the furthest he's been. Ruby suggested he was half fit in the interview there too.

    7/10 from me <laugh>

I've picked Tea For Two in the comp but I think Barafundle also warrants respect here

I wouldnt back Vautour for anything, seriously under priced for everything.

Would have got beat off levels today, perhaps the JLT was just another graveyard race like it normally is, horses too slow for the Arkle who dont stay well enough for the RSA.

More chance of handling the trip in the Ayr Gold Cup.

Impressive by Baradari. Fine success for the Skelton team. Dan Skelton certainly an up-and-coming trainer. No bets for me today either, enough is enough! <laugh>

Oh oh, mustn't stir the ****. Wasn't intended but there you are, just a casual observation.

My apologies for this faux pas............

This River Maigue seems to have been rejuvenated after leaving Seven Barrows, I wonder whether he can get involved here back over hurdles? Probably lacking the class at the end of the day.

One of my favourite horses, Rock on Ruby, goes here. Always gives 110% but I'm still waving the no bet banner. Hope he runs a good race though and comes back safe and sound.
