with so much media speculation going on at the moment,most of it absolute garbage,who do you think we have a realistic chance of signing before the window ends...im getting lost with it all this year!

i dunno what's happening down west, but here in swansea i'm in danger of losing interest because of the lack of signings/speculation.
To be honest though, how many clubs blabber their intentions for everyone to know? That sort of thing start's bidding wars, as well as, no doubt, a whole load of other complications. I like the silent approach. Sure, it gets a little frustrating sometimes but at least we know we have a board that keep their cards close to their chest... Having said that, last season (especially towards the beginning) Rodgers was giving it the big one about signing players, a lot of whom never materialised...maybe that's why now they're keeping schtum?
I'm more concerned about players choosing to go elsewhere instead of us, got to ask if the money we are offering in wages needs rethinking and quickly. I think it's going to be back to the championship for us next season if we're not prepared to spend a little, okay it's a gamble but now we are here in the pl lets at least do all we can to stay here.
scottswan, i think brendan could get us some real gems, but his hands are tied, same as previous manager's in what terms he can offer them, also another thing that's puzzling me is danny graham is getting a 4 yr contract with no mention of a wage slash if we get relegated(and brendan mentioned we won't be reducing wages like blackpool did if we're relegated) but with dorus, they said he would have to take a wage cut if we got relegated!.
