Really glad this thread was started, nice one Chazz.. i had a little problem with my chest about 18 months ago, They thought it might of been lung cancer, it turned out to Be sarcoidosis ,a shadow on the lung but not the big C I've had to go see the specialist every 6 month. This isn't my good news, I was supposed to go yesterday. My Mrs said she would visit her sister that day who lives Over in grimbo so would be gone all day, I got a txt saying My appointment was cancelled as the doctor was now not available The txt came the previous week but I neglected to inform my wife. Must of slipped my mind, mind you a day of doing exactly what I Wanted was too good to pass up, I even drove away and waited In asda until I knew she'd gone... What a great day I had. Music on full blast and singing my little head off, now I know I have a good singing voice but for some reason my family don't Full ****ing English !! With All the trimmings..... bought a very large tin off chocs and scoffed the lot, **** sharing them, besides I always miss the purple ones. Then an afternoon of watching a good film,not a ****ing weepie !! My only problem was trying to eat my tea when my wife got in. And she would have to go and make ****ing..spag bol... So my good news was a little txt from castle hill... Your appointment has been cancelled Mr........
leaning towards this being the best news story..........but those of you who have positive news on illness et al slightly edge it, glad to hear people are getting better! FM16 released last Friday....awesome news
My little girl has just received an offer from Durham University. Just like me, nigh on 30 years ago. I feel very old. But very proud. Oh, so ****ing proud.

Well my good news is weird, I joined my ship last Sunday & only on it for a couple of days & collapsed & blacked out twice, so last Wednesday we were in Jamaica & I got sent off, so I've been in Montego Bay hospital for nearly a week now, anyway tests done & today I had a camera stuck down my throat to see my heart, good news is it appears my heart is good! To say I'm relieved about that is an understatement as my Dad died earlier this year with heart problems! So I have one more thing to do hopefully which will be a test on my brain, hopefully positive results from that!

Honestly the French reaction has taken me by surprise more than the Russians, good on them. My latest good news is the contracts for the house buying and selling bollocks are in draft form! My local Fish Shop (sells marine fish, not a chippy) has kindly offered to board my fish and corals and other stuff a week either side of us moving when we sort that. For free. Which honestly is amazing. Not to mention a huge weight off my mind because shifting a tank with 450 litres of water, 100 kgs of live rock and various expensive fish and corals was going to be a *real* pain in the arse on the day of a move. Also, England finally look like world beaters! And my middle daughter has almost finished her dissertation so just 3 months to go and she'll be an actual nurse. In fact I think this all calls for:
