    The Club is pleased to announce the signing of Isaac Pearce who has joined on a scholarship deal from Bristol Rovers.

    The 17-year-old striker will turn pro in the summer on a contract that will run until 30th June 2018. He will now join up with Steve Wigley's U18 group.

    Phew. For one horrible moment when I saw the headline I thought we'd appointed Stuart Pearce as manager. Cottager, you're a cruel man.
