No comp horses engaged today. Currently a few coming up: Wednesday (3), Thursday (2), Friday (4) and Saturday (3)
Willoughby Court in the 3 35 Southwell ---this one finished ahead of Aurillac on its first run --form is strong, 5/2 seems a gift....
Stick --i'd be worried with that performance last time out , kim bailey has a dark one -Battle Dust , as you know, first time out is often the best with his....maybe a r/f
All about the trip ruddy. They ran him at Ascot over 2m3f which was totally inadequate. Up to 3m today and much more suitable. That's a nice bumper to finish and your pick ran in a race that has turned out spectacularly well. Yours and the Twiston Davies animal should have a good set-to!
Tough days racing today, and with news that Barney has had problems after his morning bowl of shredded wheat (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-34834799) I only have to hoist the no bet banner, and let it flutter in the wind.
Mrs Windsor has an interesting runner at Lingfield (12.40) in Final Choice, who's a Makfi colt out of a Sadler's Wells sister to Dancing Brave. Apparently not as ugly as he was, unlikely to be as fast.
You were right Rudey....too bad to be true today. They fancy POTTERS MIDNIGHT also later so lets see how that goes!
Nothing for me today but I've been given one that the yard are sweet on running at Dundalk on Friday. This lad has been running very well on the gallops and should give AOB/Weld runners something to think about.I hope to get 'the Nod' on Thursday so will share with the forum.Should be a very nice Ew price too, horse is from a small stable that does well at Dundalk.
I likes a wee gamble at the ok coral/bandit country racing track, look forward to you info Ste! Nothing dodgey about that track at all!!!!!
This does appear to have a strong chance rude and I wouldn't fear the Twiston horse as much as I would Relight The Fire @ 5/1. 2nd behind Younevercall who then scored by 3 lengths on hurdles debut to Clock On Tom who has since gone on to win it's next two hurdle starts comfortably enough. There is money for the Twister one along with your one but RTF looks value at 5's too. Gonna chance the R/F on Willoughby and RTF.
