Off Topic EVERTON TO HAVE NEW OWNERS?

It's being reported that a group of American businessmen are about to buy Everton.

EFC fans are pretty excited about the prospect of some true investment in their club with the possibility of a new ground as well.

Full details of the proposed buy out are still unclear.

Wonder what their reaction will be if the spokesmen for the group turns out to be Hicks & Gillette

I wouldn't wish a Hicks and Gilette on my worst enemy.

 

I was told at a sale was highly likely to go ahead in the next couple of months, about a fortnight ago.

There was also a tidying up of the companies house records for the club, which was a sure sign that due diligence was close.

Bills health and the desperate need to capitalise the business to facilitate a stadium solution, means that the time is now right for a change of ownership.
