KATTANGA KATTANGA all you good good horsey people. having been back to GB to tie up a few family matters,i have retreated back to the costa for the winter.really looking forward to this NH season and really feel its started for real with this weekends fayre. gutted at the sad news of the passing of my fav ever jock--pat eddery----indeed it was the grundy v bustino race that got ne hooked on racing many moons ago---R I P PAT. was out for a spin on the med this morning in "the launch",where i accidently on purpose dropped my sat morn bacon sandwich over the side causing the local wildlife to take an interest in the wifey, who was sunning herself aft of the boat. geet big each way double and singles at chelts today---SPRING HEELED @ 22-1-----SO FINE @ 20-1,should put a few logs on the old fire for the winter. good luck and stay safe all---and remember---there are times, when all the world"s asleep, the questions run so deep----
Kattanga CHIEF hope you are doing well my friend. Where does the wife park her supermarket trolley when she's on the launch? Also, is that a Spear & Jackson number 4 under the bench she is sitting on? Take care my friend
As promised yesterday ... Here are todays tips i recieved. Western Breeze 2.15 Uttoxeter was flying until hitting the last 2 hurdles Vendor 3.15 Wetherby Copper Kay 4.05 Cheltenham
We've been through the avatar yesterday. I'm not for changing until I feel like it the more people mention it the longer it stays. They're tips my buddy gets , he's loosely connected with some yard or other As I stated yesterday I'm not into horses that much so he gives me tips. I told him I don't ever want his fancies or what he thinks might do it etc. And so far so good. But I fear I jinxed it by posting here I am a superstitious ****
3.00-Batavir win 6/1-Hosed up on soft ground at Ascot last year and similar repeat of that effort here should see him go very close.Pipe has a decent record in this race winning twice in the last three years. Will be like a pig in ****e in these conditions. 3.35-Even though I think Herbert Park will be hard to beat I'm always drawn to Charles Byrne runner and this lad will definitely be there abouts coming up the straight and represents a nice Ew price at 7s Punchy 2.45-Love Rory Ew 5s.Enda Bolger has a terrific record in this race winning 6/7.I think the favourite On His Own my need the run and Love Rory has won this race the last two years and must go close.
14:25 Cheltenham - Art Mauresque e/w (For the usual Saturday punt will take a chance with this one e/w at 14/1 with Bet365. Very open race.)
Let's have a go at these slow old sluggers. 1.50 Just A Par e/w 2.25 Art Mauresque e/w 3.00 Gevrey Chambertin e/w I'll be able to retire if the treble comes in.
Been told that Colin's Sister is expected to run well in the bumper -@ 50/1 -make of that what you will -info comes via owners....
It's getting heavy going at Cheltenham, it's getting attritional. Enter the Venetia Williams horses - Bennys Mist carrying my Euros for a boilover in the Paddy Power.
Aaagh. That winner of the 1.15 (Vicente) was recently beaten 1½L by Shantou Flyer (over this course) and started at 12/1. Completely missed that
Looks like my superstition of keeping the tips to myself has been proved right If i hadnt posted the horses Western Breeze wouldnt have clipped the last 2 knocking her out of her stride.
That wasn't one of my tips ... I know **** all about racing but I know Nina and cross country races usually mean a Nina win so when I just spotted it before the off I threw a few euro on
For **** sake ... im not posting my tips on here anymore. Obviously I won't come on saying x, y or z won when I didn't post it before the race. But my suspicions that I'd jinx them by broadcasting appear well founded
