Hungarian international Marton Fulop played in England between 2004 and 2010.
He is best remembered for his time with Sunderland but he was also on the books of Tottenham, Ipswich and West Brom and also had loan spells with Manchester City, Stoke, Leicester, Chesterfield and Coventry.

"The ex-Hungary international had a tumour removed from his arm in 2013 but was cleared to continue his career."

    Very sad news :(

    RIP Marton Fulop

Awful news. He was a shining light in a very dark time for Leicester City.

    Condolences to his family.

Very sad. Saw him quite a few times when he was on loan with us, the 'Fulops Unbeatable' chant rang out many a time. I'm sure we tried to sign him permanently but Roy Keane played hard ball on the fee. Better than two other Hungarians I remember playing for us under Holloway.

Taken far too young. Condolences to his family and friends.

He was the keeper around when I first started supporting City, so this has come as a real shock to me. Taken far too young.

Thought you were about the same age as me Fantastic Mr Fox. It was Ian Walker for me but Fulup was not log behind and was a great part of a dark era for us. Shocked at the news, RIP

My dad told me about this yesterday when I phone him to wish him a happy birthday. I´ve been busy to post the last couple of days & seen an article about him. Yeah, very sad.

An unknown from Yorkshire in my first match. I remember my dad telling me he'd never amount to much. Now, what was his name... oh yes, Gordon Banks. My dad was an even worse judge than me!
