Paul Lambert? I can never understand a word he says. If he gets the job I'd have to go to evening classes to improve my translation skills. What would our overseas players make of that accent?
If Lambert comes, we can be thankful Scotland didn't vote for independence. You just know we'd forget to get the guy a work permit
http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...57188.html#$$nxr3iw&&mdifoon4EeWVJhKp/GPoWQ$$ McLeish now favourite Perhaps it is just they want a Scot, any Scot will do However on facebook 27 minutes ago (11am Friday) this was posted "I'm reliably informed it'll be Jimmy Floyd...make of that what you will!" And apparently the source is a good one...make of that what you will
Not favourite with us Beth,he's currently 8/1.Pearson still favourite at 2/5,Lambert 3/1.I really don't want McLeish,he's done nothing in my book and I just don't rate him!
So the ITK on facebook is either a REAL ITK or completely talking through his .... I know which I think at the moment
If we wait till the end of the season, and if people are after someone to get them to play as a team we could do worse than Michael O'Neill of Northern Ireland fame, would be a gamble to put it mildly but getting that team to the euros isn't to be underestimated. In all honesty I don't think he would be the best choice however I think we could do a lot worse such as Sherwood, please, please, please not him
If McLeish ever comes near the club Tony should resign. I don't think he would be in the running. Just ITKN (In the know nothing) rubbish.
How about Norrköping's manager? Beats teams by attacking them more than they get the chance to attack "us". Pure football no matter what the opposition. I heard from one of the trainers at the club that they play 11-11 on half a pitch, every session so that players are always under pressure when they have the ball. Passes longer than 10 metres are not allowed. Every player who plays for Norrköping is extremely comfortable on the ball, no exceptions.
I think we play hot potato in our training sessions! Seriously, can you imagine some of our players ever being comfortable on the ball?
Is it just me or has anyone else got a strong gut feeling they will be very underwhelmed by our next managerial appointment?
We are a mid table Championship team with money problems and crap facilities. Guardiola won't be leaving Bayern for us. The choice is an ex PL manager on the way down or a lower league manager on the way up, perhaps.
I do get that Stan, it's just that so far most of the speculation seems to be mostley unproven or recently sacked so I'm not excited. Not everyone will agree with me but I'd be happy for Neil to stay until the end of season tbh!
