    It seems that way...#sarcasm

Just look at the amount of B&W shirts. I am gutted I can't be there but wow, what a turnout. Kansas is horrible to get to, its not as though many would go out of their way to come and see them. But once again, we prove we have world wide support. Fantastic.

God knows what it will be like in Orlando!

It really is great to see, we have been through the ****, have done **** all trophy-wise in decades yet still attract world wide fans.

But still, we are a small club <doh>

No, but just look at all the photos being posted on twitter, fans queuing up out the doors, black and whites drinking in the car park with a massive toon flag on a pool which is attached to the car. Class.

Seen one somewhere, it's a bit like an English ground. I'll look around and see if I can find it.

One on NUFC.com but not very good.

I'm not sure if you meant of one tonight with the fans tailgating, but here's a good wide-angled one of their new ground from the night it opened

Back, been doing a bit of work behind the scenes about Mr AL NUH. That isn't the pic I was thinking of when I was talking about it reminding me of an English ground, but structurally a lot of the new grounds look alike.

It's just good to see so many dedicated football stadiums in the MLS now. Not only can you count on proper pitches without american football lining, but it's a lot easier to draw fans to a new stadium, and back in the old days seeing footage of like 2,000 fans in a 70,000 stadium hardly inspired people to want to give it a chance and go

Just be glad sports direct isn't spelled out on our seats too

EDIT: I should clarify that I don't necessarily like 'Sporting', though as others have said, it's a hell of a lot better than 'Wizards', but I absolutely hate Red Bull raping clubs like NY and Salburg, even if it is an injection of cash into the club

Speaking on behalf of one widely traveled and having resided in 6 different countries, yes NUFC fans are everywhere ...as are Sunderland, pretty much everywhere and pretty much evenly split. You get all teams of course, from all divisions including plenty fake Manure and Chelski fans -NE fans are possibly the most passionate, The Pool do well too to be fair.

Hey all, just back from the match and post-party in KC; here's a photo of the ground tonight. My friend Tom and I run the www.newcastleunited.us site that put on the tailgate party in the parking lot with the flag, pictured in an earlier post - 70 Toon supporters turned out and we put away 4 cases of Newcastle Brown Ale (provided at discount by a local liquor store) plus a case of Corona in an hour and a half before the game. Afterward there was more black-and-white than blue in the bars near the stadium. A blast. Newcastle United: what a club to follow. Can't make it to Orlando but can't wait for Columbus next week. We'll have a post and more pics from KC on our site tomorrow.
