Huddlestone pushing forward, with Hayden to come in defensively if necessary. Even with Hudds in a more advanced role I would still worry about having 2 slow players in the team if Diame plays too or 3 if you count Livermore
Diame back in there for me, certainly opens the door for one of him or Hudd, or even Hayden, to step up to the plate, given the last month sat on the bench i'm sure they'll be desperate to show what they can do
You mean start Huddlestone in games we need to attack and bring him off for Hayden? Or drop Diame and play both Huddlestone and Hayden?
Tricky one to balance isn't it, I wouldn't want 3 potentially slow players in the team, Livermore has to play so what to do with Diame and Huddlestone.
In terms of quality you'd put Huddlestone in and keep Diame behind the striker but in terms of style of play and keeping the same tempo its got to be Hayden. Time for Bruce to earn his crust.
Greggsy Dave Harry Daws Robbo Elmo Livermore Diame Clucas Abel Chuba Hayden and Huddlestone to come on depending on how the games going. Or Potentially, Greggsy Dave Harry Daws Robbo Elmo Livermore Hayden Clucas Diame Abel
I think we get his wages paid while he's not available for us. Disappointing news after the way things have been going.
I thought he was injured Ignore me. In that case I'd still like to see Diame dropped back and Maloney off the front man. Clucas has been doing so well on the left.
For the Brizzle game I think SB will rest Hernandez due to his travels and only getting back late, put Akpom and Diame up front and bring Huddlestone in for Meyler.
I know Huddlestone has had some good cameos recently in the league but to have him starting again, even in a more advanced position, must risk the whole new dynamic of the team being ruined. It's not as if Meyler simply played forward and Livermore back. They were swapping roles a good deal putting in a lot of mileage. I can't see Tom doing that.
