    Overview of situation

No of players: 19 alive and 12 dead
    12-1-4-0-0-2
    Town-Bandit McGraws-Bandit Donaldsons-SK-Burglar-Unknowns

I'll give a brief summary of every team. An important note that Neville confirmed for me when I asked is that even though bandits get upgraded when their members die, they retain their old shooting accuracy, so they just gain the better role's actions.

Bandit McGraws - 1 (QT board)
Investigator (now the Gang Leader) - ?? [50% accuracy]
Recruit - Not yet (Can recruit from day 3)

Threat level: Low. Very hard to win from here even if they recruit.
Gang leader has all his actions but only 50% accuracy so should die if attacking someone who is in a public place.

Bandit Donaldsons - 4 (QT board)
Investigator (now the Gang Leader) - ?? [50% accuracy]
Thief (now could be Investigator) - ?? [50% accuracy]
    Drunk Arsonist- ?? [25% accuracy]
Hired Gun - ?? [70% accuracy. Loses tied vote.]
Recruit - Not yet (Can recruit from day 3)

Threat level: Very High. The main threat to town, need to eliminate some bandits asap.
Only positive is the Gang Leader only has 50% accuracy now.
They could choose for the Thief to become the investigator but I seriously doubt it.
Stealing money is way more useful than investigating in this setup, plus they need to kill anyone not on their team so investigator role is pretty useless.

    Serial Killer - 0
    Threat level: None

    Cat Burglar - 0
    Threat level: None

    UNKNOWNS - 2
    Unknown 1 - MustyFrog
    Unknown 2 - Sebb
    Threat level: Unknown
They won't be a threat by themselves unless Neville introduced a Vampire type role. My bet is that they have secret tasks in order to join certain teams, or teams have certain tasks to get these guys to join. Not necessarily just the bad teams, the tavern or bank team could have them too.
HOWEVER Neville said they will balance the game so my guess would be they are much more likely to end up joining the bad team(s). So something to keep an eye on.

    TOWN - 12

Town Jail team - 2 (QT board)
Sheriff - ?? [100% accuracy. Can reveal own role.]
    Deputy - ?? [60% accuracy. 60% Investigation accuracy]
    3 cells, must be guarded.

Town Bank team - 1 (QT board)
    Bank Manager - ?? [35% accuracy]

Coachmen team - 0 (QT board)

Town Tavern team - 4 (QT board)
    Inn Keeper - ?? [35% accuracy]
    Brothel Madame - ?? [35% accuracy]
    Barman - ?? [25% accuracy]
Tavern Whore - ?? [25% accuracy, delay 2-day kills every night]

Tradesmen team - 2 (QT board each)
    Gunsmith - ?? [100% accuracy]
    Trader 1 - ?? [35% accuracy]

Doctor team - 1 (QT board)
    Doctor - ?? [35% accuracy]
    Invincibility potion once a day

Town Priest team - 1 (QT board)
Town Priest - ?? [can't shoot but 15% chance of being killed]
hidden consequences to attacking the priest

Vigilante team - 1 (QT board)
    Vigilante - ?? [70% accuracy]
Has 2 kills, 1 triple vote

I almost forgot to remove my name from my role! <laugh> #RookieError

    Overview Summary

So overall a very rosy picture for town, we're well up in numbers and managed to kill the two 100% accuracy bandits.
So the top accuracy bad guys are one 70% Hired Gun and three 50% guys.
The top accuracy town guys are Sheriff 100%, Gunsmith 100%, Vigilante 70% and Deputy 60%. So a strong position there.
We obviously don't know about the two unknowns, if Neville gives them high accuracy and they join the bad guys we're in trouble.

  2. I did point this out to him above. There isn't much we can do though. Back each other up and we look dodgy.

However, to back GCB up here, it is very frustrating seeing what we see but knowing you guys can't see it and we can't tell you <laugh>

They 'could' also both be Town but don't know that either.
The problem is when people react to being accused or voted for without reasonby simply voting straight back in rataliation - also without reason/logic. It 'might' be bandits or it 'might' just as likely be two clueless townies fighting while the bandits laugh. What we need to watch for is how OTHERS react to it.

    Strategies for teams

My view on strategy for each team:

Two key factors of my overall suggested strategy:

    1) Strength in numbers - defend only 2 places not 3 or more every night
The fact that townfolk should band together in two places (Gunsmith and Tavern) is central to my strategy.
We force the bandits to attack us where there are many of us, so there is plenty of shooting back.

    2) Deny Bandits money by buying as many bullets as possible
Another key fact is to deny Bandits money by spending all the money we have on bullets. They need money for both bullets and to pay the Hired Gun, without money they are screwed.
Neville confirmed when I asked that if you're killed the bullets disappear, the killer does not get them. So you could buy 100 bullets and its better than bandits getting the money.

    Bank.
Bank Manager, it is going to be very difficult to protect the bank.
I think you should buy as many bullets as you can, if you have enough money buy 14 for $350.
    End Result:
POSTIVE: You are protected as you'll be in the Gusmith with half the town there to fire back if you are attacked.
POSITIVE: The bank vaults should be virtually empty so nothing much worth stealing.
NEGATIVE: You won't be able to pay the Sheriff and Deputy's wages but if the bank gets robbed this would have been the case anyway, AND you would have died along with other defenders.
See OP from Neville: "Once the town loses the ability to collect money then any remaining law enforcement team are disbanded and become regular townsfolk who take over vacant businesses and have the same choice of actions as the other tradesmen. They keep their respective gun skill levels though, and retain access to the law enforcement board."
So we don't lose their shooting accuracy, and they can still buy bullets using their shops, and they can still choose to defend certain properties.
The ONLY actions we lose is the ability to lock people up (which we haven't used), the investigations (which are less useful than protecting in my opinion as there are more town than bandits so will probably investigate town), and the only really useful ability is the Sheriff's one to kill anyone he chooses.
So overall I think it's a better, safer plan. More townfolk stay alive and we deny bandits the money in the bank, and we force them to attack us in one of two places that are well defended, the Gunsmith or the Tavern.

    Town Jail team.
See above Bank strategy as it impacts you a lot.
If the Bank manager goes along with it then you may only have one night to use your actions.
I would recommend the Sheriff kills someone he suspects if he is feeling brave, however I think it's risky as you might have the whole gang firing back at you.
I think it's best to keep defending and wait for the Bandits to attack you, they have to attack to win so it's way less risky to be defending than attacking.
I don't recommend defending the bank as said above. Either buy bullets or defend the Bar (not the whorehouse as that's only upstairs. Defending the Bar defends both places).
Sheriff should buy as many bullets as possible if he can.

    Tradesmen team.
Keep buying bullets with all your money as it can't get to the bank.
That denies bandits the chance to steal the money, and keeps you safe in the gunsmith at night.

    Tavern team
Innkeeper keep buying bullets for your team.
The whole team should be defending the Bar in case it gets attacked, not the Brothel as its covered by the bar anyway.
Chat among yourselves about when you think it would be a decent idea to reveal one of yourselves, maybe the barman as the least useful (sorry). Idea is that the four of you could be seen to be bandits, it would be useful to know who is town.
If bandits claim it too one lynch vote will tell the truth.

    Doctor
Use the potion as you see fit, maybe keep giving it to yourself unless you have a really strong read on someone as town.
Selfishly you're welcome to give it to me as I have a massive target on my back right now <laugh>

    Town Priest
Don't reveal your role but your actions along with the two in Sanctuary last night will help us in future.

    Vigilante
Use your actions as you see fit. I have a few really strong bad guy reads, if you have the same go for it with either your kills or the vote swinging. If you're not sure leave it for another day.
Defend the Bar or Gunsmith at night please, maybe the Bar as there should be plenty of guys in the gunsmith every night.

    Echoes my view.

Plus with Chippy he's usually more random but does seem to be under orders.

Most suspicious of GCB for his non voting and then voting reasoning.

Also would throw in Obi due to his emotions getting the better of him last night.

It could be the case, just like San Marino could win the world cup but you wouldn't back that bet would you?

Other than the priest, I have the best viewpoint of the game out of town people...to be fair maybe I keep forgetting that you guys are in exactly the position I was on the previous two nights.

Until the priest was revealed he was on my suspicious list <laugh>

    My views on certain players

OK so my suspects and views on people. I really liked IBWT and Obi Wan's posts about their views on people, and fully support us all doing this.
Some bad guys have been hiding and will probably continue to do so, but this is one way to see who is avoiding revealing their views on others.

I've really struggled as I don't know the players that well, and some of the guys I do know have been very very quiet.
    But here goes:

    My main suspects:

    Brb
    I would guess McGraws Investogator.
Created a lot of noise early on, potentially as a distraction technique to stop us strategising.
Wanted to lynch the quiet players early on, potentially because his teammates were in the votes (Magic and RHC)?
Gunning for afc even after Chaos/RHC dead and revealed as bad guys. (Valley did this too and was a bandit, both seem pretty defensive after that result)
Gunning for Obi for being constructive.

    ACS
no comments but always voting and on at nightfall. Usually a lot louder.
    Voting GCB who seems town.

    Tash
no comments but voting and on at nightfall suddenly.

    Looking like Town:

    GCB
    Kloppezinho [Gerrez]

    Varying degrees of uncertainty:
    everyone else!
Not going to post all my thoughts yet as I don't want to give too much away, but those two I feel good about for town for various reasons, and the other 3 are my main suspects. Will vote for one of them, just depends who other guys agree looks guilty to them as well out of those three.

That's it, let me know what you guys think.

I certainly waded in because he has done it before.
In hindsight, having reviewed the remaining teams (as per my long post earlier this morning) even if he was 'nudged' it might be a good team, not just a bandit team. It will be interesting to compare who was voting for/against him/RHC/Chaos although that will be a complete mixture of Town plus (att the time), 2 fairly strong bandit teams.

Sir tennis ..why defend the gunsmith? The gunsmith can still trade bullets wherever he is ... (confirmed by Nev)

The bank has 2 vaults with money split between them ...bandits can only hit one vault (if I understand correctly) Plus not defending the bank leaves manager exposed

Nev ....can you confirm that the town xan ONLY pay for sheriff /doc ...via the bank manager alone? Or is any cash box good for that?

He voted for someone other than the two bandits that died last night. He's been very quiet but always managed to vote and now he's targeting me. If you kill him on my say so and he's a bandit you know I'm town pretty much. If you kill him and he's town I've signed my own death wish.

Brb is a tricky one. Played once and was exactly the same just causing chaos and he was bad guy on that one... But I have a feeling brb will play that exact same role if he was town as well. Hard to read him.

The other two make sense, quiet but then suddenly appearing. Always looks bit dodgy.

This actually echoes my view as well.
I suspected a link between ACS and RHC.
Now RHC was a bandit. This makes ACS my number one suspect for sure.
