Kranjcar could be heading to Werder Bremen for £2 million if Spurs accept that sort of price.

Damnit Pardew. Make a bid and get the man signed up. Even if the 2mill offer is a load of crap and he would only go for 3, or 4 or more, it could be well worth it and gives us a new quality winger.

As for Stephen Ireland, I consider it a massive gamble. He was great at man city, but fell on his arse at villa. The entire gamble is on whether he can/will discover his old form when he moves here. I'm not getting my hopes up TOO much though for a man who can't even make it into Villa's starting 11 and has already been dropped from the ROI national team due to his antics.

kranjcar would be brilliant, but i think we can only dream.
ireland would be ok, but he isnt fit, and im not too sure he would be worth the money/hassle.
he could prove us wrong though

Kranjar for 2m would be great if it's true then we've got to at least put the offer in there

2 mill for Kranjcar not bad, worth a punt though we don't need a left winger, with having Gutierrez and Ben Arfa at the club.

As for Ireland not convinced, Wright-Phillips should be the main target, but looks as though he's going to Bolton.

The fact is Krancjar would still be a great deal even if we had to pay as high as 8m IMO, but Ireland is in dire form, commands huge wages and we only need him for about 3 or 4 games as cover, then he'd sit on the bench when Tiote, Nolan and HBA are fit. Kranjcar would provide versatility and competition in places we need it, and would be on lower wages, lower fee (than Ireland would cost in summer if we were to buy). Scandalous if he goes for 2m, we should have bid.

2mil for Kranjcar NOT BAD?!?!? it's almost criminal (nudge nudge, wink wink eh 'arry) Also, Kranjcar's right footed and can play anywhere across midfield. I'd stick him on the right personally

    SWP? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Kranjcar supposedly wants to stay in the premiership, and given the shape we're in it would be a good move for him, if he'd accept the kind of wages we'd offer.

Kranjcar would be a great signing. Not so keen on Ireland though.

I wouldn't take SWP gift-wrapped. One of the most over rated players in the Premier League

I'm a little disappointed the mackems look like getting sessegnon and muntari when we need a right winger and we haven't looked at these guys.
If we got Kranjcar and Ireland I'd be very happy but we can't sit still we need to push on improving the team with quality

I'm not fussed about Sausagegone. He's an OK player but to not exactly 'class'. Temperamental little bugger as well...

Ireland can rot at Villa as far as I'm concerned because he'll bring nothing to the team that we don't already have and stagnate the development of the younger players we have in the reserves for these positions.

SWP is the perfect option to have if you want to win a fast running headless chicken competition. He's chased the cash to the detriment of his career and he can rot in hell before I'd welcome him to NUFC.

Kranjcar is a great player and at a purported £2 million; a bargain as well.

Does Kranjcar pay on the right side, i thought he played left or central. I agree he would be a good signing but we have enough in the centre and left when benny's back we definitely need a right sided player.

How about that barnadetta (spelling) we were looking at thats all gone quiet.

How good is sausagegone Overseas? I aint aseen much of him other than the infamous you tube clips

    Barnetta is injured.

Has a knee injury so likely to be out for a few months. I'd still snap him up though as he's the type of player on the right we'd need and Carroll would flourish with his crosses.

Sausagegone is OK. He's not an outstanding quality but does have an effective passing game if he has time on the ball. He will struggle with the English game though as it's likely to be too fast for him.

Between the two; I'd take Barnetta as he also plays a defensive midfield role.
