Don't think there's any chance of him heading our way. Not sure there are many premier team supporters who would want him.
http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/...d-flies-to-malaysia-for-talks-with-qpr-owners.. So there is no rush !!! SO ....Pearson no good, as Leicester and QPR owners are friends, and Hoos doesn't like him either Pearson, a leading contender for the Fulham manager’s job, was sacked by Leicester City in June following a number of run-ins with the Midlands club’s owners, who are friends of QPR’s co-chairmen Ruben Gnanalingam and Tony Fernandes.Sherwood was lined up to replace Harry Redknapp at QPR last year but Fernandes later became reluctant to appoint him and instead pursued Paul Clement, who was then assistant boss at Real Madrid and is now Derby manager, before eventually installing Ramsey. SO Sherwood is no longer considered a candidate Former Tottenham manager Sherwood is available, having recently been sacked by Aston Villa, but the Rangers hierarchy do not currently regard him as a candidate. However Colin has suggested someone else http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 Warnock and Derry...the cheap alternative! I am beginning to see where this is going..or am I just suspicious
I'd have no problem with Warnock having the job until the end of the season, with Derry as his assistant, if that is what's being mooted. Or as qprted might put it... Id have no probbem wiv Wannock havin the job till the end off the seeson with Derrie as his asistent if thats whats been mootted
I think the Warnock / Derry partnership would be ideal. It would stabilise the playing side and a proper decision can be made at the end of the season...
Got it! Fernandes was the host of long running Asian Apprentice (it lasted one series in 2013, another rip roaring success eh Tone?) He should run it again to choose a manager. Two teams of hopefuls (I'd like to see Canio and Pearson paired in the same team). A repetitive task - win the next game, one week you take the first team next the yoof, alternating throughout the season. Special tasks get extra credit - cash neutral transfer window which gets 15 new players while keeping Austin, get Sandro to play three games in a row, play a single yoof team player for ten minutes etc etc. Winner the least **** one by the end of the year. All lose if we are not promoted.
Would be happy with Warnock at least until the end of the season. But my main choice is Malky Mackay I really feel he has something to offer and just needs the right break to get his promising career rolling again. The thought of getting Lambert really makes me feel ill.
What is likely to happen IMO NW gets us into shape and obtains a good work ethic and team spirit He makes public that he would like to stay full time as he loves the club We are in the mix QPR appoint another manager and we sink like a stone and finish 15th Our players are then sold off for 50% what we paid and TF tweets positive future much work to do
I think Rangers should beg Neil Warnock to take the job and give him a 2 year deal now. We can then move on with the rebuilding that should have started with unloading Austin,Fer,Phillips and Sandro in the summer. Warnocks brief for this year should be Keep us up. We can then rebuild properly by buying players like Hall who appear to want to play in this Division and progress and supplementing them by intelligent use of the loan system. I do not care who puts the cones out for him on the training pitch as long as he is in charge of the team. Lets not look a gift horse in the mouth here. The man knows the division and knows our Club.
That was the subtext Sooper. He is completely compromised only a dinosaur like Whelan would employ him and that only lasted 10 minutes.
I see warnock is not in that meeting tomorrow, I hope they don't rush into appointing a new man as they've got to get this right on the forth time of asking, for me if they can't get Pearson then warnock should hold the fort till end of season & bring in Derry to help him.
After today's news, Moyes is the man we should be setting our sights on, he has the pedigree and would like the challenge of a prospective Premier League mid-table challenger. Just hope he's not become too greedy after his Man U experience.
Warburton will not come anywhere near us. He doesn't want to work with or under a 'director of football.' It's the reason why he left Brentford.
I agree that he has hindered his reputation, but it is short-sighted to dismiss him for a moment of stupidity. I find Barton's behaviour against Man City a far worse crime yet after a spell away was welcomed with open arms by just about everyone and many on this board and feel he is still badly missed. I appreciate comparing a manager with a player maybe viewed as a mismatch but I am comparing the crime and let's not forget Barton has re-offended on many other occasions, has Makay?
