Refused help from the board? That's interesting.

Does anyone know who James Beattie replaced at the club if anyone? Since he has joined we seem to have no attacking edge in the final third. I am not solely blaming him as I think Gomis has proven what most of us thought prior to us signing him ( that he is ****), however I find it a bit coincidental that since his arrival at the club we have got worse up front.

We would be right where we are now ,imo , regardless of Beattie being here now or not.He hasn't been here long enough to make an impact or given much responsibility this early in his employment with us. Might not be true , but what I believe. To find problems with our bad run and or striker problems , one has to look to the people who hold the real reins to the team.

Wasn't Beattie in place at the start of the season? No complaints then as I recall. However, Monk, Beattie and the entire backoom staff should be picking up their P45s before the next game. I can't see how waiting until after the Bournemouth helps anyone as the result will prove nothing whichever way it goes.

Beattie has been with us 12 games , and only one striker has been used basically .
Beattie is a non event imo , to our problems. .
Gomis , and Monk refusing to use any other striker , are 99 percent for our striker problems

Why have we gone from a (fairly) attacking style to a pass it sideways, pass it back, pass it sideways again side. The first few games we were the better team and won or drew. Since then it`s been pretty shocking, with no idea at all. Cork who was excellent is now behind Britton in the pecking order. What`s wrong with Tabanou?, never been picked.

I hope that Monk has a good talking to by Huw, telling him in no uncertain terms that we need to get back to what we do best, not the dross that`s being served up now. Unless of course it`s Huw who picks the team and tells them how to play. I`d give Monk until Bournemouth but no longer if he`s still doing the same.

Just out of interest found this on Wiki, means nothing I know.

    P W D L W%
    Michael Laudrup 17 June 2012 4 February 2014 1 year, 232 days 84 29 24 31 34.52
    Garry Monk 4 February 2014 Present 1 year, 278 days 74 28 16 30 37.84

Laudrup had a load of injuries and Europa as well. Not a fan of Laudrup, just stating facts. And I think he was gone after 1 win in 10.

Swan I think the problem is GM doesn't know how to change it, We play the same side week in and week out, It doesn't matter how bad we are playing there is no change and that to me smacks of a manager who is either so arrogant he can see no wrong in the team or his selections or he just doesn't have the technical knowledge or ability to see the need for change and be able to implement those changes. Can you honestly see any other manager persisting with a striker who is playing as bad as Gomis is when you have an alternative at the club. The simple answer is no they wouldn't.

He has had his chance and it is now time to move him on he has now been found out.

A quick thought but does Beattie coach have any involvement with the U21's , McBurnie is doing ok atm , I've noticed he's been training with the 1st team squad occasionally .

Monk = 1 win in 9 at the moment.
Laudrup 1 win in 10 when sacked.

I'd sack the ****er now. I'm done with him.

Laudrup 29 wins in 84 matches = 34.52% so I don't know where sky get their numbers from.
