Finally on Can, this lad has played around 57 games in 2015. He played a big part in our winning run last season, played non stop under Rodgers this year, then played in the u21 tournament this summer and continued this season.

He needs a rest.

I think there is potential. Most of the money he spent was ill spent but there is some good young quality in the club that can be molded. 6 games without a loss... We were due one. I'm not overly concerned. We're turning the corner now. If we don't get 4th we'll at least give it a run.

That's been the case in a lot of games since Klopp joined. The ones we drew a striker would have won for us. The ones we won we would have won by more.

Benteke Has done well and adapted well in recent weeks but isn't as ideal a fit as Studge or Ings

 

We would have got -3 points today if Rodgers were still in charge. So zero points isn't bad if you put in perspective.

I think a lot of teams are off the pace who could be competing. (or have had extended periods of ceapness). If we don't at least challenge closely for 4th it'll be a disappointment. This really is probably our best opportunity to break back into top 4.
