Hiag there are clear signs that Spurs are playing well in the PL this season but that doesn't mean you are getting closer to Arsenal, as we also have been playing well.
as we have gained more points after 12 games than Spurs have then that's all that can be said at the moment.

I believe that Sporting Index have us to finish on 62.5-63 pts and Arsenal 79.5-81. That looks like a spread trade to me!

  3. G4E, again, it's not what I'm saying, it's what's being reported in London's major newspaper!

This is the entire point that I have been trying to make, and which PIXIE (and now you) seem to be purposely ignoring.

The claim was that I am the only one who is mentioning a "North London Power-Shift," but that very expression has been used in a major newspaper ffs! So, clearly, I am not the only one reporting on this phenomenon, contrary to what PIXIE has been wumming on about for months and months.

It's a mammouth wum-fail that has come back, horribly, to haunt him, and which has seen him "owned" on a Biblical scale.

And i am saying Spurs are looking good this season so far, and I could say the same about Leicester !

would you say a Power Shift is underway at Leicester ? And with who

if Arsenal were to win the league and Spurs came 4th would a Power Shift have started or would it mean that Arsenal have moved even further ahead of you

  5. Again, you are missing the point that I am making!
    <doh>

PIXIE has been prattling on, for months, that I am the only one talking about a North London Power-Shift, and yet, tonight, we have none other than The Evening Standard leading with a headline that states: "Spurs Show Signs of a North London Power-Shift!"

Forget - for a moment - whether or not there is a power-shift, or whether you, I, or any one else believes there is a power-shift - do you agree that this headling demonstrates that I am not the only one talking about a Power-Shift?

I'm not asking you to confirm whether or not The Evening Standard thinks there is a power-shift, I am merely asking you to acknowledge that they - The Evening Standard - are talking about a power-shift?

    Yes or no?

So you would buy Spurs @63 and sell Arsenal @ 79.5 ?
Would work if you think that the points difference between the two would be less than 16.5.
what if Spurs flop and Arsenal go on a unbeaten winning points run then your straddle would be ****ed. It's best to pick one side and then trade.
What was points difference last season and season before

There are many spurs fans that believe if Redknapp had finished 3rd in his final season with us, that would have meant Modric would have stayed and turned down Real Madrid, VDV would have stayed, Levy would have invested in building a title winning team and we would have overtaken the goons, and no thats not a wind up as these fans speak up on the debates on the spurs board, with it being the main reason they don't forgive him for not finishing 3rd.

So yes, there are fans that believed a power shift was about to take place, Redknapp started the talk and unfortunately couldn't finish ahead of the goons and build a team for the title. When we went to City and lost the game 3-2, we had fans dreaming of the title (pre match), most exciting team in the country and best team in North London.

Not that I share that view about rewriting history and thinking about what if Redknapp had finished 3rd, but HIAG is correct in saying thousands of spurs fans believed a power shift was about to take place.

<laugh> I love the way you wind yourself up into a pissy fit.

Of course people have been talking about the power shift, this whole thread has been talking about it. It's been one long reminder that it's not happening. The point is that it is only you who claims it's happening. The standard article said 'the emphatic belief that this was the match which foretold a potential shift of power in the capital's football hierarchy had to go on hold.'

Anybody who believes that a 1-1 draw is a sign that the shift has happened is deluding themselves.

Keep em coming monkey boy. These wum fails from you are hilarious

It's almost as boring as your fish picture. But keep wheeling it out. It tells me how desperate you are <ok>

Whilst I expect you to finish above us, I am betting that the spread won't be as wide as 16.5 points.

As far as I can see, 11 pts last year - 10 the year before. It's a lo about opinions, but I fancy it will be a bit less this year.

Because it's a straddle over 2 markets it's too open. Get a price on the points between Arsenal and Spurs then you will only have one variable market and no straddle :)

Yeah, it would be interesting to find out what spread they would quote you on a straight points diff trade. I bet it won't be offered at 16.5 though!...

Otherwise, you have to lift the offer on Spurs, hit the bid on Arsenal, and lock in the difference that way.

So 11 last season and 10 previously - so actually Spurs finished further away! So the actual Power Shift is in reverse in that Spurs are heading opposite to us.
    Classic ****ing classic.

Ok I will run a book.

Points difference as the market maker would be 8.5 - 9.5 to give interest to both Arsenal and Spurs fans, so they can all put there money where there mouth is*.
If you think the gap between Spurs and Arsenal will be higher than 9.5 you buy, if you think lower than 8.5 you sell.
The make up price will be end of season total points. Prices will fluctuate as season develops.

*to enable all to play without losing all their money payment will be in kudos which means that all players will lose is face/credibility and bragging rights

I love it, HIAG prattling on about his imaginary power shift to Spurs whilst in reality the power is shifting further away from Spurs towards Arsenal.

Well, he did say that he was right in that parallel dimension he exists in. In this one, the power shift is the exact opposite of the one in his.

I'm still waiting for HIAG to answer my question about his prediction for the NLD yesterday and his prediction that Spurs will take 'all 6 points off of Arsenal this season' ?

I do hope you're not going to go into hiding again HIAG ?

Mate you going to open the trading by buying Arsenal >Spurs @ 9.5

no money will be lost as payment is in kudos - the right to say I backed my own judgement and put my money where my mouth is.

I expect NSS to be a big seller and for Hiag to be a big player in the market what with his long term positions and daily trades :) or he will bottle out

Seeing as HIAG is being humiliated in several threads again today. I though it might be a good time to ask him why he's avoiding my questions

    1. How did his 4-1 or 1-0 to Spurs prediction in the NLD turn out ?

    2. How is his prediction that Spurs will take 6 points from Arsenal this season going ?

No bottling it please HIAG <ok>
