I'm not suggesting that it's true, just that you're clearly wrong.
That is unless HIAG's added Evening Standard journalist to his long list of alleged achievements, of course! <laugh>

    I've no doubt he'll claim he's a journalist as well as a Lawyer <laugh>

  3. Tottenham show signs of north London power shift despite surrendering advantage at Arsenal
(Tonight's headline in The Evening Standard)

    <laugh>
Poor old PIXIE! His last hope of ever "owning" me has been burnt down in flames in a most spectacular fashion!

Having wummed constantly for month after month, alleging that I am the only one who has ever contemplated a North London Power-Shift, London's premier newspaper comes out with this devastating headline!

I think it's back to your mum's closet, Mr Monkey-Jizz! The last vestige of any dignity that you had been clinging on to has just been spunked out the window, mate!

From the article 'the emphatic belief that this was the match which foretold a potential shift of power in the capital's football hierarchy had to go on hold.'

I love the way you walk straight into these wum fails, keep em coming monkey boy <laugh>

'the emphatic belief that this was the match which foretold a potential shift of power in the capital's football hierarchy had to go on hold.'

Read it again HIAG. The only one claiming a power shift is you. <ok>

    What does it say?

The Headline is just a hook, the body of text says they don't think there is a shift, only you monkey boy <ok>

  9. The difference is in the use of the word "signs" in the headline, and the use of the expression "emphatic belief" in the article. Whilst it is too soon to give credence to those who believe emphatically that there has been a shift, it is clear that there are signs.

The argument (for which I have been so effectively a conduit this past 12 months) is that there are signs of a power-shift. The headline confirms exactly what I have been saying, all this time, and it confirms that you have been "owned."

Just accept that fact. People would have more respect for you.

The Standard say there isn't a shift. And you're still rubbing your little chipolata <laugh>

    Read the article again

  13. I've read both. "Signs" is not the same thing as "emphatic belief."

I don't know if your are being purposely obtuse, or if it's a ****witted defence-mechanism to save you from the biggest "owning" this site has ever seen? Which one is it?

To surmise, the Standard don't think there is a power shift.

    Only you, monkey boy <ok>

  15. To summarize more accurately, The Evening Standard, whilst not going so far as those who have an "emphatic belief" that there is a North London Power-Shift, do believe that there are signs.

Game over for you, PIXIE, I'm afraid. You've lost, mate.

I don't think so Monkey boy, the Standard don't think there is a shift, only you have claimed that.

Also I would disagree that there are signs too, you drew against an understrength Arsenal team and here you are rubbing your chipolata

It's classic small club mentality and shows exactly where Spurs lie in relation to Arsenal <ok>

What happened to your predictions HIAG ?

That Spurs would win either 1-0 or 4-1

and that Spurs would take 'all 6 points off of Arsenal'

That might work with your Gooner acolytes, but we know that the uncomfortable truth is that we are closer than you would like to let on!...

And how many times have we heard this over the years ? If you ever do catch us up and finish above us, come back then.

Until then we'll just brush it off as the same bluster and guff that we've been hearing for the last 20 years <ok>

I didn't say that. I said we're getting closer, as today's evidence showed.
