I keep meaning to write an online football manager game for the forum.

    Badger Football Manager.

One of these days I'll take the time.

Idea being you run a stable of short-lived Badgers that play football. (they only live a few seasons so you have to breed them... There's also a danger of badgers having sex during a game which if it's 2 of your own can be pretty bad).

Their stats are determined by genes... So the ability of the kittens will be based on the parent Badgers abilities. A pregnant badger would be considered "injured" until the kittens are born.

I first suggested it a year or so ago. Haven't forgotten about the idea... Just been too lazy to write it. I've got it all planned out in my head.

Think I must have missed that whole thread as looks new to me <laugh>

I thought it was Mafia type game, which made no sense to me. Now read that it makes more sense lol.

No no idea how it'll work but would get involved as seems a laugh lol

Blackguards is a fantastic game if you like turn based rpg strategy games.

Hex based battle field using tactics. Quite difficult.

Can't truly make my mind up about Black Ops 3..

Campaign - Seems very good so far.
Zombies - Crazy weird but overall quite good.
Multi-player - Good. Although it's not really different to previous COD's to be honest. Rinse and Repeat.
Free Running Mode - Quite fun actually.
Nightmare Mode - Not finished Campaign so haven't unlocked it. Looks like it will be a good addition.

Purely due to the content in this COD it has to be worth £35.

In my opinion COD needs to go back to it's roots and forget the futuristic style they've now gone with. Next one should be a classic old school war. Plenty of good untold war stories for them to base it on, no need to go all futuristic.

Overall. Much better than Advanced Warfare. However, no where near as good as Black Ops 1 or Black Ops 2.

    Best COD's for me are:
    1 - COD 4
    2 - Black Ops 1
    3 - Black Ops 2

Got FM2016 at the weekend... Quite different from last one I got which was about 2008ish..

The bits around tactics, training, style, philosophies with the board etc is all very detailed.

Contracts are a bloody nightmare, so many additional clauses to sort out not like old days of offering them 50k for 5 years.

Hired myself a DOF (Frank Arnesan) to deal with all that crap...

players are are so expensive as well, trying to buy Jack Grealish and Villa keep saying its 58m or no deal <yikes>

How much is a button? I'm assuming less than a £1 so would deal on that!

If it's anything like FM 2015 you can play in 'classic' mode or something similar. It's a bit simpler as the detailed version can be a bit full on. You end up spending hours between matches just sorting **** out.

The nightmare mode is disappointing. Pnly played first bit but its just replacing the fighters with zombies...

Edit: as in directly replacing...too much space for it to be anything other than easy.

I am loving Arena. Its like an offical version of what we used to do privately on mw2. We'd select Rust and make it knives only...

This version you get to either protect or eliminate a weapon or perk from everyone...can really screw with your classes lol..

Not seen that. I do like the detail involved, makes it more than just a sit and click game which can get boring and does offer plenty of different things to do. If you want simple then FIFA offers that I think so this is a nice alternative.

Only complaint is falcao has scored about 10 goals already in my season so clearly not very realistic <whistle>

  20. Fifa is **** for management though. Majority of simulated scorelines seem completely random. The game I've got saved (been playing games) is with Stags. Managed to get them into the PL and EL (finished fifth by a single point <grr>). after a few transfers that summer, I have one of the better teams in the league now. However, tried to simulated a couple of games against the likes of Derby, Bournemouth and Accrington (cup) and managed to somehow lose still <doh>
