It's widely accepted that Paulo Sousa and Mark Hughes have had more success following failure at W12. It would be kindly ironic if this karma could return in our favour. As such, what's to say that Tim Sherwood won't prove his critics wrong, gain promotion via the playoffs, secure mid table EPL status and a cup final within two seasons. Whilst I'm not inspired, what would inspire me is some of what we saw first half yesterday. If he can deliver that, then I'm sure doubters like me will be won over.
I don't like the dude and think he's one of many wrong choices the board could make but hey if he came in and brought success to our team.........., well you can call me Mr Fickle Pants.
Could the board REALLY employ someone who seemingly turned us down and was ****e at Villa and got sacked? #probably
It would be typical of Fernandes to appoint him. If Hoos is in charge of this, as I expect will be true, I'd be amazed if we ended up with the mockney ****.
I guess Ferdinand will be his main cheerleader, on that basis he will be favourite as our board haven't exhibited much strategic nous in the past four years...
Yeah and Tim Sherwood would win the Champions league with QPR not to mention Fa Cup, Super cup and Premiership 10 times on the bounce...Then i woke up and thought what an irrelevant post. Sherwood = Twunt = failure if he comes to QPR
Irreverend or irrelevant? It's a good point that you make though. Let's explore your case logic further. Manager = Demeanour = Performance (expressed as success or failure) So if failure is par at QPR - what are we looking for in Demeanor to arrest this?
I'm not inspired by Sherwood. But his albeit short record as a PL Manager isn't bad. Tottenham ended up 6th, while Villa escaped relegation and got to Wembley under him. I take it Colin isn't recommending him because of his lack of managerial experience in the Championship, but that hardly explains why so many on here seem to pull your hair out at the thought of him being our Head Coach. Is it just because he supposedly turned down an earlier offer from us due salary, or has he been a bad boy or what?
I think in general its due to him being a humungous self-publicising knob-jockey. I may be wrong though
He speaks and acts as if he should be working in Magaluf trying to get you to take up an offer of a free shot with every pint.
I preferred the original description. Collins Dictionary (another income stream for Neil Warnock no doubt) defines this as: Someone who rides on other men's laps. Usually without the target's permission.
Sku We can't entertain TS for QPR from a fan's perspective because he is a horrible cnut without any skills That sorts that out
