United should hand back all of those points for the reasons you stated.

I don't know what happened to that post towards the end of it.

From the replay it looks like Remy kept going because he thought he was not fouled himself like. If that was any other Chelsea player in that position, Chelsea were getting a peno and the keeper a red card. Remy was naive

I thought you'd nodded off and typed the last sentence with your forehead.

He didn't go down, because it wasn't a foul.

Calling players in that situation naive whilst at the same time moaning about players diving to get decisions is what's wrong with the game. I applaud the lad for trying to score instead of feigning contact and going over.

A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following seven offences in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:

kicks or attempts to kick an opponent
trips or attempts to trip an opponent
    jumps at an opponent
    charges an opponent
strikes or attempts to strike an opponent
    pushes an opponent

Just because he didn't touch him doesn't mean he didnt impede him. The attempt alone is a foul. If costa threw a punch at someone but missed thats still a red card offence

I am calling him naive because everyone else does it, you get nothing for being honest. Given Chelsea's predicament.. yes ethically it is better to not go over, football is hardly ethical :D

I agree thought, he was not fouled

"They were very influenced by Paul Scholes," said Van Gaal. "When you are yelling 'attack, attack, attack', you have to think 'hey, is it all right to yell?'"

"The fans want to let the players know that we have to score. Of course. My mother knows that, so does my grandmother."

When you are posting that, you have to think 'hey, is it all right to post?'

    1>0

Plus had Chelsea equalised Stoke would have felt more pressure for sure.

Though it's all irrelevant now :D

Someone needs to fix Treble. He's been stuck on repeat for the past few weeks.

Some managers meet the challenge of a new club, others are happy to put everyone behind the ball until their pension comes through

Klopp has succeeded so far. Van Gaal instantly lost, spend more than any manager in history, challenged for nothing, #bottledit and played Fellaini as his only tactic, #bottledit and refuses to drop Rooney...

Klopp is cheered by Liverpool fans, Van Gaal is booed by Man Utd fans

But you don't rate Klopp. That's a fact.
