Arsenal get one back, but Bayern have eased right back. In a way, it's very disrespectful to Arsenal, because it is, effectively, treating them like chumps.
It'll be interesting to see if Wenger goes for the EL consolation prize for failure. I'd love to face them in Europe if the draw allows it. Atmosphere would be electric.
Piskie is saying that they shouldn't bother even trying to get into the Europa league. Given they have never won Europes top prize I don't see why they would look at it with such contempt. I think we have won almost as many European trophies as them
We've won more European trophies than they have. They've only won one, unless you include the non-UEFA Fairs Cup, in which case it would be two.
QPR have sacked Chris Ramsey and brought their old mate Colin back to fill in for a bit. Can we bring him back to WHL now?
PIXIE is, as we all know, a complete tool. He has been slagging the Europa off in order to wum us Spurs fans, but now that it's looking likely that Arsenal will have finished 3rd last season only to take an early exit from the CL into the major part of the Europa, he's facing a serious amount of ridicule and contempt, not least from his own fans. I love seeing idiots undone by their own arrogance!
This is correct, however, I think although we should have brought in more players (and for some reason, Arsenal fans bizarrely disagree with me on that), the bigger issue is where these injuries are stemming from. We had 10 first team injuries tonight and it's only the start of November. We've brought in new staff over the past three years to help find ways of reducing the frequency of the injuries we get, but nothing seems to have changed. This is just as big - if not, more - of an issue than Wenger's reluctance to spend in the transfer market.
It's like a bad dream you can't wake up from. This man needs a Doctor and strong medication. Oh and a good beating on Sunday.
