Bristol the great city
Tonight is a big game for SC does he go with his blinkered approach,or will he change it.
If he goes the same route and we get another tonking then someone has to make a big decision, clearly his three at the back approach is not working with the quality of players he has at his disposal.

For me i would play the following tonight.

hamer

bennett flint baker [if fit] williams[if baker not fit] moore

freeman ayling k smith bryan

kojak cox

or Little at right back and move Bennett into bryans place.

over to you guys.

If we did go to a flat back four, then the best right back in the Club is Mark Little, the forgotten one at Ashton Gate.

you might make four changes, maybe three, maybe two, maybe one covering bases for A/I was right B/ He is blinkered because he didn't make four changes, maybe three, maybe two, maybe one ...

Stubborn Cotts will stick to his guns no matter what happens, because that's what happens when you have your head stuck in the sand. A loss tonight is unthinkable but hang on to your hollyhocks as the ride could get rougher from here. Are we computer pundits so far off the mark on our thoughts? Leave it to the experts they say - Hmmmm.

No - he will not go to a back 4. That change is only likely to happen if he is no longer manager. Not sure it will solve our problem even if he did. We need more quality in defence, CM and another top striker alongside JK. Hope we can cling on to our place in this division this season and get them in next summer.January is never a good time to buy so it has to wait til then now. A mess but that is where the club has put itself.

Is Moore fit ? If he is then it isn't right to play him LB.
Is Baker fit ? I have a feeling tonight will come to soon.
Hamer, although MOM at Boro, must be useless if he can't selected for Fielding.

I believe our results have nothing to do with a back 3 or back 4.
Our Defenders, Williams and Ayling in particular, and Keeper are just not good enough.

Let's hope we get lucky tonight, score first, a homer ref, and Wolves have an off day.

agree Little added to a back 4 AND GO 4-4 2 OR really shock WOLVES AND GO 4-3 -3 it was glaringly obvious how easy it was for Fulham to beat our 3 man defence, and they did after 4 goal cushion seriously take the foot off the pedal...

He will not survive then only a matter of time.

I bet you're dying for him to fail just so you can wheel out all your told you so threads.

Plenty on here now, are commenting that your mind changes more times than the wind. Well we won tonight playing the same style kept a clean sheet! Now you will be back saying you always believed he could steer them towards the play offs etc etc etc

In Steve Cotterell we have a top manager who believe's in his players & most of all himself...for christ sake stop coming out with crap post's.
