Probably quicker to print one out than explain why they can't !

If that's the case then the supermarkets may as well work from a warehouse as everyone apparently pays online. There are many potential customers of Hull City who do not have the facility to use the current ticket buying options at the same time that there are thousands of empty seats and a ticket office that refuses to accept cash. Bizarre.

Just give it up its pathetic.
You go into the club shop and buy a ticket using a credit/debit card. Its that simple you dont need the internet.

I've got a retail business, half of the takings are in cash. By your logic I should tell those customers they have to pay by card otherwise I can't sell them anything. I also sell online and around a third of customers send cheques. Perhaps I should embrace the digital age and tell them their business isn't welcome.

    By your logic you're a dense ****.
You buy a ticket online and print it off yourself, or request to pick it up. Or,
You go in and use the ticket machine and pay with a debit card.
The club are doing it gradually cos we have a lot of dense ****s obviously.
So will not issue tickets in the ticket office till Wednesday, after Xmas that may be Thursday, therefore encouraging people to buy online or use the machine in the shop.
**** me theres some deliberately dense ****s on here.

You can't pick your seat in the self service machine at the Stadium either, only the block, so when you want to get an extra ticket for someone to get a seat near you you've got to do it online.

I'm not a fan of the online site, it's a nightmare to use and they keep changing my details so it should just be easier to get one from the ticket office.

So instead of answering the points I raised you call me a dense ****. Nice.

The problem is, we take the decision to do something like switching to automated ticket sales, but don't first implement decent systems to accomadate that switch.

Not being able to buy multiple tickets on the self service machine makes it ****ing useless for most people, unless we're only targeting fans with no mates.

Is that definitely correct, it seems mental?

The issue I've got (if this is aimed at me) is that you can't pick a seat.

My passes are on row u of N4, so when I'm getting an extra for the guy that works shifts so can't always come, I obviously want it to be near me.

You can only choose to be in N4, there's no control over where it will be, so he could be on the front row or the back row, I've no idea until it's already gone through.

What I can't understand is why they put the ticket machine in the club shop next to the ticket office?

Why not put it in the club shop in Prospect Centre, so people can pop in an buy tickets "in town" rather than having to go all the way to the KC?
Also easy for people working in town to get them in their lunch break??

Or how about TWO machines, one at each shop????

If I had time I could think of new things for all the shops..........

I used the website to buy a ticket recently for the first time
I picked my seat, to be next to a friend, but then due to being a "dense ****" pressed the back button to check I'd got other details correct before I paid...I had so went to buy it...only I couldn't because it now wasn't available
    Bugger
So I picked another one nearby when it dawned on me that it was highly unlikely someone had bought that single ticket in the few seconds I'd left it. So to test that theory I clicked on another one (without going back, just on the same page as if I was undecided...in the same way you can when buying flight tickets) Now neither of the tickets was available to me!
I double checked by clicking on a memorable pattern of other tickets nowhere near me...now I wasn't able to buy any tickets I'd clicked on
This was vaguely interesting, but still meant I couldn't buy the ticket I wanted
I kept reopening the page to try, but it was over 3 hours before it reset itself and the tickets were available to actually buy.

So if you try and buy tickets and notice someone has spelt "****" in bought seats in a quiet section you'll know it's me having a free play again !

That works with train reservations too. Although it's harder to write a decent word. <ok>

We are witnessing evolution in real time. Hull man has mastered using a bar code to gain entry to the ground now man is mastering the purchasing of tickets without speaking to anyone.

    Darwin would have been ecstatic
